CHA gear gets you good prices

These are a nice, inexpensive way to help boost your CHA when selling to or buying from merchants. I've been carrying a pack full of CHA gear for a long time and it has more than paid for itself. My base CHA is 50 (I play a halfling) but with my CHA gear on it reaches 109. With indifferent or better faction that gets me the best prices available from most vendors.

In my experience a CHA over about 100 is all you need for this.

Other good CHA kit items include gold catseye bracelets, a crude stein, and split paw necklaces. Some of the guards on the wall in Misty Thicket drop a ring that adds 5 to CHA. Halflings can quest for a Leatherfoot Raiders Skullcap that also adds to CHA.

Just to add another item to that list... a Silk Evening Tunic from South Qeynos will add on another +5 CHA and only sets you back... maybe a plat or so.

While I haven't used my CHA gear in a while, I do have it on hand (base of 75, and I'm partnered with a chanter), for those 'big' vendor purchases.

"5pp for a Salil's Writ page?" *dig-dig* "3pp... much better..."

Hmm... the new AAS lets you boost up your CHA? You mean it takes level 51 to learn how to bathe? Sheesh!
Great Bard Earring!

Hello All,

For the level it takes to accuire this earring, or the price to buy one [25-100pp depending on your server] this can't be beat for a bard who put their starting points into STR and not Cha! Pair it up with another Opal for a double shot of CHA, or an Orcfang Earring [also inexpensive and easy to obtain] for an easy to achive mix of AC< Dex, Cha, and HP.

personally, i think it would be better for an enchanter to have those +3 int earrings (you know, the ones from the easy quest in the qeynos catacombs) on and make yourself pairs of electrum star ruby rings (+5dex +7cha) and gold cats eye bracelets (+7cha). jewellcraft is a godly skill for making yourself some great items, even at the non-uber levels where you gotta scrounge for everything you got, all your spells, and money to work on the gold skill levels...
