ok going on better than 2 full days of farming for the drop for my (then 52 shaman) who is now at 55 and still no drop i know at least as of 3 months ago it still dropped....but its looking pretty bleak for my shaman now im getting ready to quit farming and move on...so hopefully those of you shamans who decide to get this spell i hope you have better luck than i have!

Dropped from one of the mobs heading from the lava river bridge to the Nautilus room (heading for the vial). Level 70 Cleric, pulled waves of 5-6 of them and ae'd - ds potion, clarity potion, and steadfast servant for free heals and haste.

Just keep trying furious and vehement blakchands it will drop in NADOX

just finally got my drop, 70 druid here with a 70 beastlord went and cleared to nautilis room, or however its spelled, went south, before courtyard theres a left hallway, if you can track you will see 2 blackhands on track, if u cant track, before courtyard make left, immediate right, then immediate left, like 3 mobs bunched together fyi, think one was a wanderer. hope this helps =)
I guess I got unlucky. After clearing the Blackhands for 8 hours I started to think I was in the wrong spot. It finally dropped off a static spawn vehement standing to the left of the door near the safe hallway.
All the other drops for Pure Blood were very easy to get, usually fewer than 10 kills.

We got lucky, first Blackhand we saw and killed dropped both the Cowl and Clan Blood. We got it from the Blackhand to the right of the bridge.
Found this off a furious Blackhand as well.
