Hello again everyone! he he

ok i just looted the Carved Fox Ear just now and yes it still drops off a emissary of hate. i was fighting in the mines at the back area. the 2nd to last cave at back area i stated cleaning out the cave when this one dropped the fox ear 3rd one on the left side going into cave. and got a Flawed Defiant Quarts as well. its rec level is 50 with a reg level of 37 also comes with 8 ac, 9 hp, 15 mana, and end of 15. for slot types 7 gen and slot 8 gen raid.

Final room of Luggalds for me. Emissary Hate (as already known). I was on my 9th or 10th clear of the room (for other reasons).

With 280 int and 160 dex the stats are sta 4 cha 4 mana 11 sv fire 3.

OK, this charm is no drop, yet I bought mine in the bazaar (on Stromm) in the last couple of days. I guess it's no drop on looting - yes ? Therefore I don't understand how I managed to purchase this. I augmented this charm with my Adventure Stone, and the charm is now No Drop but never bothered to check before augmenting. Just wondering if removing the stone, removes the No drop tag allowing it to be purchased ??

Anyone notice that it says it gives int and dex stats but it doesnt have those stats listed on it on the info?????

It doesn't say it gives Int and Dex. It says it grants a 'bonus' as you gain Int and Dex. In other words, get your Int and Dex up through other items and armor and this is supposed to give some sort of bonus, possibly higher stats or a focus effect. I do find it hard to believe that it's been around as long as it has and no ones posted anything on the 'bonus' though, so it may very well be </feign shock> broken'

Ok so I didn't look far enough down the page (ooops!). Stats do increase with a higher Int and Dex.

As for ones that dont suck, the best charm is the engraved wooden ones, you get it from a dwarf in PoK and it upgrades as you progress through the planes, give TONS of hp, mana, stats, saves, as ect. ect. but for us that aren't uberguilded or below lvl 51 these charms aren't too bad.

Not to gripe at you or anything, but at lvl 65 you would most likely be able to get that charm and almost full potental withougt any work to aquire it.

From the ones I've seen on here, most are just OK

But think about it this way, its more than you had before. Even if you get a CRAPPY charm, it's better than none at all. I'd figure on this charm, whoever had it had crappy DEX and INT.

I don't think they all suck. Personally, I like the Charm of Deception because it is very nice for Rogues, Bards, and Enchanters.

OR rangers OR druids OR necro's OR magicians (when they get their AA =D

dont think just rogues or bards cause of their masks or enchanters cause of their spells, other classes can change also =)

I just got mine today. Killed an Emissary of Hate for it. I've been camping the tunnel cavern for over 2 hours before it finally dropped one. It's almost as bad as camping the Frenzy Ghoul for the FBSS in LGuk.

Anyway, I have a feeling that the stats on this charm is based off of 3 things: DEX, INT, and perhaps even levels. When I'm not buffed with a 134 DEX and a 244 INT; the charm gives me the following:

+3 STA
+3 CHA
+7 MANA
+3 FR

However, when I had a shammy and an enchanter buffed me to 260 INT and 147 DEX; the charm gives me the following:

+4 STA
+4 CHA
+10 MANA
+4 FR

And when I get a Shammy FoS or HoS that gives me a 211 DEX along with a 260 INT; the charm gives me the following:

+5 STA
+5 CHA
+13 MANA
+5 FR

Now as far as levels are concerned; I've been hearing people give me lower stats when they have this charm at lower level - even when their stats were higher. I still haven't explore the full range of this charm yet. I would like to see what kind of bonuses I would get if I get a 260 DEX and 260 INT. Anyway, that's just my observation. Nice item for a necro or a hybrid.

I also recieved mine of an emmisary of hate it the same room as posted. The minimum stats I think should be assumed as being none. WIth buffs my 55 Pally gets + 1 Sta +2 Mana +2 Cha and thats all. No fire Resist. Not a great item for a wis caster at all but I won the roll and there were just three of us, a shaman, a Beast and Myself. Would be way better on an sk or Int caster. Been in Dulak, Gunthak, and Nadox for a week now, only charm seen dropped and all charms I have seen shouted out are NO DROP. Curious if all are this way but in the Bazaar window Charm slot has been added so hopefully there will be one more useful some where.

Made two kills in that zone, the Emissary of Hate was the second kill. He dropped this item. I won the roll so now I actually have something in my charm slot, though with Int at around 50 (Troll) and with my dex buffed to about 195 it shows only +1 Sta and +1 Cha and about +5 mana, no resists. Also keep in mind that on FV server, where I play, these are not no-drop. That may be the reason for the charm spot in the bazaar listings. Hopefully for everyone else this is not the case.

i have 260 int and cranked my dex to 230 this gave it stats of 3 stam 3 char 7 mana and 3 fire res.

Why would you want an int of 355....260 is the cap untill you hit 61 for most caster classes...meaning any int points iver 26o is a waste of slots...as a necro i like to use the unused slots for hp as that can be converted to mana easily.

umm cap is 255 before level 61 actaully and goes up 5 points per level 60+ plus can have 5 ranks of Planar power (+5 all stat cap's per rank) and 5 ranks of innate enlightenment (+10INT/Wis Cap)=355 So its possible to have a 355 stat and not have it wasted.

Try learning a few things before posting.

To get your cap on in and wisdom raised to 355 you have to lvl 65 and spend quite a few AA points. The poster you so ignorantly countered was simpley wondering what the max effect on the charm would be with max allowable int in the game.

I was fortunate to receive this while hunting in the last room with the Crypt in the middle of the Hate Tunnel in Dulak's Harbor. There were a lot of Innoruuk signs all over.

It starts with the following stats:

STA +1
CHA +1
Mana +4
SV vs. Fire +1

Since this is such a new item, I am not sure if the stats go higher than the following, I buffed myself to maximum I could and the charm had:

STA +3
CHA +3
Mana +7
SV vs. Fire +2

This may not seem like a lot to some, but its better than nothing. As for now, I have bragging rights and a nice little item in my Charm slot.

It dropped off a normal MOB, I forgot to check, but I know it wasn't a named. It must have been a normal mob, but I guees we will have to wait until more players come up with this trinket.

Just curious, what mob dropped this for you? I was hunting in the area I'm assuming was close to Hate (lots of minions of hate and stuff). Wanted to make sure I was on the right track...
