This is starting to SUCK. I went in here at lvl 39 and lvl'd to 42 without captured niflik dropping. I was the only one there for hours. I had several tiny niflik's but no captured. Wondering if they still drop.

If anyone is still doing this quested item. I went in with 45 Ranger...snuck (Camo) around the beach and killed three Nifilik's. First one dropped the "Tiny" third one dropped the "Captured". It was dangerous and i'm not sure if my casting Harmony, before pulling, helped but i was not attacked by anything else...no root just snare. Drop was on both the Dk blue and on the lt blue's as well. Turn into NPC at lighthouse. Very easy to do. DOT isn't too bad either better than stinging swarm. GL.

i must of got very lucky the first one i killed dropped it. was just goofing around with my 37 ranger figured i would try a few mobs and realized
they hit pretty hard but i had a fungi and temp on but still got smacked pretty good. just before i was ready to leave i got jumped by one almost didnt loot the drop but saw that it was for a ranger. glad i looted it, ill return at level 44 for the other hope i have as good luck. peace

a small pouch (hey . . . it is a CAPTURED Nifilik, after all). If you kill a Nifilik and it has a small, brown pouch as loot, you have "a captured Nifilik."

Yes, "A Captured Nifilik" is not common, common means on like every 3rd one, this has not yet been on any of the 47 i have killed
