The Zraxthril Forged Weapons are also flagged as "Quest Item" .. anybody know what quest they are for?
Dropped in Dulak's Harbor at the warehouse camp by the Dandolak? ship... by a windscorn windchaser? will have to look this up as waited too long to write it up and did not make a note when we killed him... Dark elf...

The Zraxthril Forged Flamberge was nerfed in today's patch. Delay on the weapon rose from 28 to 35. That significantly reduces the effectiveness of the weapon and consequently its value.

oo people should go around giving these to Races and stuff with no noob armor cause its same stats as most of the weps. I am a iksar. i have no noob armor quests to do so now that i am the level to i go around giving these out to iksar noobs :).

I decided to give roleplay a try and started a character on FV ... a friend whose main is there (that I met from Stromm) loaned me this weapon. As a starter weapon it rocks, hitting from start around 18-19 and occasionally higher; the graphics are wicked looking :) --- very pleased to have it.

You should be able to use it as I bought one of the other LoY weapons, a luggold trident, and my warrior was able to use it and I don't have LoY yet, either.

The Zraxthril Forged weapons are as plentiful as rain in Gulf of Gunthak, as well as Dulak's Harbor (spelling?).
The existance of these weapons makes me think, though... Most mobs that drop these are dark blue at 51, but the weapons are best for level 1 - 25, which is when one could proccure something better (bazaar, twinks, and gifts excluded). The game seems to be taking an interesting turn where SOE recognizes playstyles, and incorporates the ideas into their design.
Twinking has always been a pet peave for the devs, even when it was Verant, but gifting was always encouraged. Perhaps now that EQ is well established, they will start to mold and shape the game so that to come up, you need people already near the top?
Just an idea 8) I've got 4 of these weapons, not counting duplicates. Most will go to guildies' lower alts. I find it really fun to hunt in a zone where gear drops that will help younger characters alot 8) Thank you kindly SoE for a great extension so far 8)

I was in Gunthak last night and i left with ... 4 large bags full of these and two large bags full of the axes and piercers that those ldd things drop. Went to west freeport and EC and made a bunch of nOObs happy. They are really great for the lower level players, better than most of the newbie quest weapons.
The merchants paid about the same price as they do for Fine steel .

Started a froggy on MT server, as I had no slots left on RN. SOme higher levels on MT were handing these out outside Gukta for free. My froggy paladin now has the Zraxthril forged axe. Very nice for what is apparently a very common drop (they had bags full of them).

They're starting to make things MUCH easier to form your own way. Dyes, PoK books for easy transport, and easily achieved twink weapons seemed like the downfall of the game, but it's actually feeling very peaceful so far.

I looked at this item in the game earlier today when exploring and did not say any kind of dmg bonus..is it true??
Dmd bonus is for Tanker class not for caster class.
and for tanker it's for the 28+ level.
Calcul :
dmg bonus = (level-25)/3.
2H wep have dmg bonus with the wep delay.

just for the hell of it, i picked one up on a vendor in queynos for my froglok paladin. not too bad a weapon for a newbie to use. looks nice, too.
I looked a tthe price on it and it runs about 70+ pp for it, from the vendor.
