This is a very good weapon. I got this to train 2h blunt and it's working quite well. I've now go it maxed and the thing does decent damage and can hold aggro if other peeps have slower stronger weapons. Does like 90 to 120 damage per hit with the eventual gimpy 30 damage hit

my maul is only hitten up to like 50 why ?
Most likely because you are not high enough for the recommended level and as such do only a portion of the damage.

On The Rathe this is usually going for 2-3k, sometimes higher, but this is generally the range. I bought mine for 200pp, but I REALLY think that person just forgot a 0 at the end, and meant for it to be 2000 (either that, or they were quitting the game and just didn't care)
Just have to put a quick post out here for look, it's quite nice, rather huge maul with spikes on the back...
Anyways, yes the price on Xev is between 2500 and 3000 from what I've seen of it. Seems about right to me. So far I've critted above 300 with it, and inner fire is just fun with this thing (as with all 2HB, straight hits from 200-300, havn't seen a crit in innerfire with it, yet).

can you explain what you mean by 200-300 with innerfire?
I'm sorry, Innerflame, it's a discipline monks have, increases the dmg for ~10 seconds or so. I usually hotbutton or severely abbreviate it so never get the last part right.
Anyways, I still havn't seen a crit while using the discipline but I've had a crit in the mid-300s with raid buffs (double crits in the 300+ range are pretty nice...).
Just meant while using the discipline I normally hit in the 200dmg to 300dmg area on average, assuming the crits can get into the 500s or so, waiting to see.
On a side note, SOE, please fix the 2HB animation. A gigantic maul in my hands and I'm poking mobs rather than swinging the darned thing. At least there is a tiny spike on the end I'm hitting em with =p sheesh. Give it a 2HS animation at least.

An upward swing or perhaps a sweep across would be equally as effective and still very cool.

Perhaps somebody charmed it and gave it to the fly as a pet weapon. That would seem to be the logical answer.

Last night we saw two drop in the general vicinity of the cannon room. Was quite the haul ;)
I've seen them dropping over most of the ship, though I have only seen them dropping off the live trolls. May just be a coincidence, but maybe not.

All this pricing seems way off. On Fennin Windblades are 25k, great maul of hatred- got mine for 2.8k, Widebladed Greatsword-6.5k. Yet I hear all these people talkin bout these 3k weapons on fennin being like 25 on some other server. Assuming cause those servers are pvp. Maybe Allakhazam should have 2 pricing categories. One non-pvp pricing and one pvp pricing.

Still, it is better than a tae ew warhammer for a caster which is what my beast was using for a 2HB. I dont have this yet, saw it in baz for 7-20K (yes, a big range)

i had about 2k (from saving), and i was looking for a good 2hb weapon. anyway, i was in the bazaar looking for a good weapon, and the first thing that comes up (before alphabetical sorting began) was a staff of battle, so i right click it, see the stats, and i bought it for 2k (i think i really overpayed for it). afterward i searched again and i see this for the same price! i was literally beating myself up for not waiting to look at all the weapons!

2K is a good price for Staff of Battle so refrain from self lashings. Better chance you saw this listed for 20K than you did for 2K but anything is possible. Goes for around 12K on Rathe. It also now has a recommended level of 50.

As a warrior who has pretty much negelected his 2hb skill for 63 levels (except for breaking out Truncheon of Doom to slow mobs in a pinch when we lack a slower) this is a decent weapon which does enough damage to use during serious mob encounters and is fast enough to bring the skill up fast if you have room to improve your 2hb.
It dropped for me last night off a seemingly unimpressive rogue troll in the belly of the ship. We also got a really nice (for the level of the zone) 1hs (11/20 with nice melee stats)that went to our rogue. I must say, I had my doubts about new LoY zones, but Hates Fury is really fun and great experience even at lvl 63. I would have to equate the level of dificulty of Hates Fury to the caves of Plane of Justice, maybe even a little tougher.

Just got it off a rogue mob at zone in. seems its random zone drop ) hope that helps some out. Rolled a 994 ) `61 monk
i've been looking to save up to buy a good 2hb wep, the big contendors have been Granite Face Grinder and Barbarian Spiritists hammer. this hammer has awesome stats (though its lacking a proc..oh well) and looks awesome! hopefullyi can pick it up for under 5k =P
musta forgot the recommended levels on the new items, it seemed a trend of required/recommended levels had formed over most new items coming out of the game these days.
Most of the required/recommended level items were coming out of the planes, with a few on luclin and new revamped high end zones like CT.
LoY is targetting the 40-60ish players, and having recommened/required levels would make less sense unless it was required level 30 or so.
