Best PoS quest reward for druids

In my eyes this item is the best a druid may get out of the PoS quests. The weapons are nice, but pretty useless when you have your epic and the belt, shoulders and cape aren't that good anymore. There aren't many face items out there that could match with this one.

I never see PoA raids listed on rordin's, and never see groups talking about going there.... I mean, how can anyone do any of these quests if no one goes there, cause the quests simply arent soloable unless you are lucky... plus you'd need to find a wizzy to port you, and, I would feel stupid trying to ask for the port lol.. and groups arent ever going to go just to help you, so you'd have to be helping everyone get everytthing they need from island to island.. I dunno.. at least thats how it is on Bristlebane server... people very selfish and greedy it seems. So how the heck do you get yourself involved in a group there?

Hey Imf, another FYI. I had a group of friends with a guild on Brell who used to hunt PoA all the time, just for fun. They all had items from up there. As far as the wizzie went, they had one in their hip pocket since the main person that went up with them was another RL friend of theirs and mine who had a 57 wizzie when they all went to DAOC. SO these things do get done, they are people who go up there.

Also, the reason I am here is cause I am starting to help people with their epics, and as a druid I want to know what pieces I need to do PoA quests, cause the people/guilds I hunt with WOULD go up and help me do it just cause it is something I wanted/needed pretty bad.

But hey, thats just my humble opinion.

The answer Imf, is fairly simple...and as with most simple things, no less hard for it.

MOVE TO A DIFFERENT SERVER.

You can say "But I have all this time and effort into this 60th level character", etc etc. All valid, but let me ask you this? Why do you play the game? Many would say FOR the game, but I and I would hope many others would say instead, to play with others.

Any guild worth calling itself such is going to go on raids for individual members when they really want/need something. It might take them awhile, but they are there for each other. Otherwise, what is the point of it all?

I'd rethink why you play and then ask myself if I'm happy in an environment with that kind of attitude, if I were you.

Just my thoughts.

dex and agi are worthless?

ok, the higher your Dex, the less likely you are to be interupted while casting.... awful nice for those desperate evacs, and a better Agi means you have more ac, which means less hits and less damage per hit, um, dont know about you, but since i have about 2k less hp than tanks on raids, i like that idea.... and if you still want a reason to get it, how about the status? being able to say "yeah, i've done some of my PoA quests"

Great item, IMO, cant wait to try for mine

I'm just now getting my druid into the 50s, almost strictly solo and have never raided, so I'm wondering if there's something I'm missing. I've seen several posts defending dex and agi's usefulness to casters cause of higher AC, regaining concentration, etc. My opinion is that I could care less what my AC is, cause I rarely ever have myself in a position where a mob gets any chance whatsoever to take a swing at me. And if I did put myself in that position, it wouldn't matter if I had all the highest AC, druid-wearable gear I could, and had my AGI and DEX maxed out - I'd still die in no time. So my question is, what happens to druids in the high-end game that forces them to accept melee situations?

DEX and AGI important

let me give you a little insight as far as agi and dex. the higher your agi is the better your AC is and the higher that is the less dmg you take. now for dex, dex allows you to cast through things more often and when interupted to stop quicker. now if your not wearing a brown chittin protector you may complain if you are then you probably won't be able to convince yourself that this isn't worth it let alone others. i definitely noticed the difference when fighting with the brown chittin on i'm sure i won't be disappointed with this item in about 10 years. hehe i don't quest much :)
#jackass, Posted: Jun 27 2001 at 7:38 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) this is a nice item but for how hard it is to get it sux....a velium ruby veil is +8 str and +8 wis...dex and agi are worthless to a druid...10 mana and +7 sv magic are pretty nice add-on....i mean its a nice item....but not for the time needed to get it

This is a very easy quest to complete, you would almost certainly get the face paint and the tesera on one run.

I think I have both on a Sky gear mule, actually.

Only the boss drop is tricky.

Dex and Agi are worthless to a druid? Methinks you don't know what you're talking about.
