I can't understand what they were thinking with charged items. You go through a long quest that really you only want to do once and your reward is an item that has an effect you can only use a few times and cannot be recharged by any method. I'm very glad over time they only have items now with unlimited charges or just worn effects...

burnout 3? 5 charges? get real. why would anyone work so hard for this item?
VI never ceases to amaze me with making quest loot, especially pain in the *** quest loot like these Sky quests are, inferior to dropped loot easily obtainable in old world zones.
The Polished Mithril Mask is alot easier to get than this and has Improved Damage II on it and more AC. The Fire Giants in Sol B are easy for a single group of upper 50's to take out. If VI wants these quests done they seriously need to use loot from LGuk and SolB as a baseline. This is a level 50+ zone and you get stuff thats inferior to original EQ drops.

Apparently you've not seen the skyshrine armor otherwise you would know that there are a lot other procs to these. ie: Summon Bandages, Shield of Lava...etc. Take a look at those Mage items. There are very rewarding.
