Councilman and Initiate both drop...
# Oct 13 2006 at 7:48 AM Rating: Decent
These drop on both the Decaying Councilman and the Decaying Initiate.

Spawnpoint for Councilman is at the hill SE of the Ultricle next to the tree. (1854, 867). He is a 6 min spawn.

Both the Initiate and Councilman path at 1606, 644. This is the cluster of rocks I've nicknamed Snowman Rock. Its got two semi-round boulders stacked together. The initiate seems to be on the same spawn timer as the councilman but I'm unable to find an exact loc on this one. The path point is a good spot to camp both mobs to maximize drops.

As far as rarity goes, from lvls 14-16 I've found 3 femurs, and numerous rib. They don't rain from the sky by any means.

I've only found this on decayed councilmen. I am currently doing this quest and I have 2 more to go. They are hard to find but I think calcified tibias are even more rare.

Surveys very mixed on rarity...

This item has become quite an item of irritation... some SKs claim it rains from the sky whereas others kill hundreds of mobs with nary a drop. For the group of SKs leveling with me, we've gone well into our teens with *one* femur to our credit with *hundreds* of kills each.

The rest of the calcified and petrified stuff drops decently (except maybe the sternum) but this is massively aggravating.
Supposedly drops from petrified skellies, decayed councilmen, greater skellies... our tactic has been to slaughter *anything* with exposed bones in Nek Forest in huge SK sweeps.
