Razorfin is the key to camping this sword without having the urge to tear your own eyeballs out. He was a very common spawn for me, probably 8 out of the 10 or so clearings he showed up. Expect a lot of Cleric maces.

Just dropped off of Razorfin. i camped the shark tanks and razor's room for about 4 months. first 3 kinda casual and the last month heavly. razor was easier to spawn. got it on pop number ten. sharks were more rare and i seen both only one time. razor was the easiest of the 3. 75 sk 700 aa self buffed at 12.5 swinging my 1.5.

You are super gimp if that is ur weapon at 75. and i camped him in one day for my lvl 65 sk. Both times.

He said he was using his 1.5 and if that is super gimp to you, then what the hell are you trolling the boards for? Shouldn't you be focusing on your 24/7 raid schedule?

Woot got mine tonight .. I kill Razorfin the first time and it dropped .. Now dont get me wrong i camped PoWater like a Bad case of Rash but, I killed the Hammertooth 4 times no drop, Gigadon 2 times no drop, Swordfang 1 time and NO drop but they all seemed to drop different things .. so i Hit me get Razorfin to spawn and it will drop .. GUESS WHat i was right .. RAZORFIN IS THE KEY..Im not saying that they all cant drop it tho :o)

Just wondering why this is so darn rare. Seems every other class has an easy time getting their swarm pet weapons. SK's get screwed again....as usual.

Well let me tell you something... your weapon is a lot better ratio than the paladin pet weapon so don't complain. Better stats too.
What a ridiculous thing to say. All the swarm pet weapons are ridiculously rare. SKs just drop from a mob that's not in a standard exp/raid spot, you have to go there more or less specifically for the sword.
Take the Rogue pet weapon, it drops in the caves of PoE on the way to Arbitor... not exactly easy. Even though the Ranger weapon drops from a mob 200 feet from the zone in, it's still maybe a 1 in 30 drop at best.
I know you're disappointed about how rare yours is, but they're all that rare, look around before complaining that the whole world is out to get you.

No kidding, i've been camping Fiure c1 for a little over 2 months now, gotten 70 Aas, and just got mine 2 days ago, im a Pally obviously. as for the pet weapons, they are rare, but IMO, very much worth it, the pets double from 30-95 dmg, bash, and kick, thats quite a bit of added dps. Plus the pally spear looks so damn cool, hehe.

This has GOT to be the rare drop of these, I've seen 5-6 druid sheids, 4-5 enc range items, 3-4 hammers. Never seen one of these even drop yet

this weapon is pretty nice if u have like 1500 plus attack lol u can hold aggro awesome with it thats for sure ... the proc is finally fixed but im not real sure what the actully dmg is but they said it looks like a skelly with a sk epic weapon that spawns for 10 secs then despawns

Ok I just got one of these off Razorfin, and the effect has been removed. Now says "Undefined Spell (Combat)" WTF!!! Anyone have any or heard any info on the proc being returned or changed. I was very disapointed.

They added 10str, +3int for 18int, +5fr for 25fire resist, and 25hp/mana for 150 total hp/mana, making a great sword even better.
I have yet to verify that the pets do more damage, but the warrior sword pets were upgraded to the SK pet damage, so I am guessing the SK pets were upped also, since they are wielding a 2 hander

The delay needs to be raised on this to 28 or above, with the damage adjusted accordingly. Sub-28 delay gimps this weapon beyond it's questionable usefulness with respect to the proc. Extensive discussions of sub-28 delay 2-handers are located on the Fires of Heaven messageboard, and I wholeheartedly agree with the points being made about these types of weapons.

it looks like that with planes of power low delay 2hs are out dpsing hi delay weapons. they fact is that for this weapon to deliver the full amount of dps it should the character wielding it must have a hi attack. some of the knights/warrior and other hybrids have parsed these weapons to show that in fact they beat others as long as you have hi attack dont know if foh post have parse posted but i have seen them and they look good .

Low delay weapons are good for melee dps, but keep in mind, we are combat casters. Fast 2hers hurt us not only because we don't get the damage bonus sub 28dly weapons, but also due to our combat casting. Higher the delay, the more time we have to fill our swing time with spells.
I'd personally rather have the dmg/dly scaled to 40ish delay. Hasted, I'd still have enough time to cast majority of my combat spells inbetween swings, and not lose melee dps as a result.
This weapon merely a toy. The low delay gimps it to be anything but one.

On the link list on the left, just click "Spells" and search for "swarmpet" and select classes "none" and it will show all of the effects for the class specific weapons, then click on them and it will say what weapons the effect is on. I think its Obsidion something-or-other
bah, the best proc sword of this type was the bugged one that summoned a wolf pet

The weapon you're thinking of is Mistwalker, it used to drop off Lady Vox. There's a decent thread on it's history in FoH's forums.

This is probably one of the coolest procs on a weap i have ever seen. prolly gonna see alot more of this with PoP updates though.

i dunno about the coolest proc ever....the warrior version of the sword has the enchanter pet holding the two warrior epic swords. But almost definitely the coolest line of procs ever
