Giant Thicket Rat Pelt and skull sell for absolutely nothing to any vendor... no bazaar price... no trade... Both dropped for me the first time I tried to take out the diseased rats and giant thicket rats that are to the right after you enter from rivervale.. in a little ruins area just past the houses...

I have searched for a week now and have killed numerous Giant Thicket Rats only to find there are never any pelts!!! This must be bugged. Happened over a year ago with my Halfling Druid's Newb armor...took over 3 weeks to get a spider hair and I made numerous bug reports about it. Needless to say...my druid was too high level for the newb armor once they fixed it. I am going to log my ranger on now and report the bug for thicket rat pelts.

Anybody know what I have to kill to get these to spawn? I've been all over the zone and for several hours, not one spawned. I was using tracking.

i can find Giant thicket rats, but no pelts drop. I only need 2 and i have been at this for days

Kill the giant thicket rats in the "undead field" areas near the Rivervale zoneline in Misty Thicket (I had better luck in the one without the scarecrow). I looted 4-5 of the thick hides (useless to me) while questing other items.
