how common/easy?
# Jun 29 2004 at 5:00 PM Rating: Decent
How common are these to collect? How easy is it to get to where these drop? I've only been in PoTorment a couple times (and aways with raid headed for KoS and/or Saryn), so I haven't gotten a chance to stop and smell the roses as it were. Now it's time for us to start putting some hurtin' and the Zeks and wanna get the most hurtin'ist weapon I can. Also, anyone know which mobs take the Bane:Zek damage?

I got these to drop yesterday off Sentry of Saryn. Lvl 65 mob if i remember right. There are 3 mobs at the entrance Servant of Saryn and 2 sentrys.. the servant conned white to a 63 in group and the 2 Sentrys conned white to me at 65. They are very ez to solo pull with monk paci and Shurikens. There is a raven that pops nearby and a spider. It is nice camp and has 5 spawns that are very ratational and easily done with 1 group of 63+. The xp there with the bonus was awesome and i was getting 1 blu aa per kill of the Sentrys.
Ridiculous...

Isn't it just a bit silly that they put a recommended level 46 tag on a nodrop item from a zone that you need to be at least level 46 to even enter, assuming you can even live through the trial to get there at 46?

Probably because it isn't No Drop on Firiona Vie.

Nothing better than using hard to find items from the planes to kill just humans.. Watch your head kiddos, 'Flying Dentures'!!!

They're better used to make Black Insanity weapons to fight Zeks with (in a different plane I presume). Tons of Zek bane damage, so they're crappy against other targets...but against Zek the 1-hander is 17dmg/18delay and the 2-hander is 47dmg/32delay, both with good stats. Oh and the ulak is 18/18 (wouldn't want the BLs and monks flaming me for ignoring them :] )

WHAT DROPS THEM?

Actually, not just humans...the term "humanoid" should apply to any organic being the general size and shape of a human. This SHOULD include elves, mutants, etc... and possibly even Iksar and Barbarians.

Ok, "Humanoid" by definition is having human form or characteristics; anthropomorphic. In this case it means anything bipedal (although not necesarily), standing upright. So ALL playable races, orcs, goblins, skeletons, gorillas, werewolves, lizardmen, faeries, brownies, bixies, gnolls, giants, ,golems, even Aten Ha Ra is a humanoid. While I have never confirmed it, I would be willing to bet that Shissar and Drachnids qualify as well. Probably 70% of the darn game is humanoid.
NOT a humanoid: tiger, rockhopper, cockatrice, fire beetle, rat, sludge, malformations, my mother in law.
Humanoid is, without a doubt, the BEST of the bane damage modifiers to have on a weapon.
