I'm guessing, looking at the images in the Fashion section, that Totemic armour counts as plate, rather than chain, hence Iksars not being able to wear it...

It is the thing that your mom would make you when you were a kid. LOL
they are the little bastereds that hang in Lower Fay. If you see one run as fast as you can away. I have never seen one but friends have all been killed by them.

There are actually a couple types of Brownies - the One's in GFay and Steamfont Mts are little annoyances. The one's in LesserFay are a bit different - if you are not with a group of 35+ and get attacked by one Try to outrun him and hope that Equestrial the Corrupted is not behind you. Corpse Run both ways....

Here are a few words of wisdom from a druid who has spent some time in htis zone.
1. Brownies hate nearly everybody!!!!! wolf form is the only I know of not to aggro these mobs.
2. Brownies roam the entire zone!! When not in wolf form or invis, you are going to be attacked.
3. A warning while in wolf form, there is a black horse called Eq something the Corupted. he will track you, find you and stomp you. He is faster than wolf form and will track you accross the whole zone. Good thing is he doesn't pop very often.

My suggestion, get a friendly Druid to give you wolf form and hunt with you. He was blue to me at 25 and easy to take down. Just wish he were worth more to me then Exp.

I never had problems with Equestrialle being faster than wolf form. It's always been easy to outrun her, unless she lands a Darkness spell on you. When I was camping Lfay, I would run as soon as I realized it was her hitting me, or I'd gate if she'd Darknessed me.

Her HT can be nasty though. May not even have the chance to run or gate if she hits you with it and you don't have many hp left afterwards.

Even a great deal of that is missleading. First of all if you have pissed off a brownie Odds are very good your butt is going to be rooted or snared. They are druids. Also as of a bit ago certain elemental forms also go not agro brownies. I want to say earth and fire? I can not say for certain if all of them do, I know at least 2 were named. Makes sense they fiercely protect the earth, druids use fire based spells.

The brownies in steamfront ar about level 9-12 ish, I have seen them drop upwards of 55gold. The ones in Gfeay are just evil. there is even one that sometimes appears right at zone in. Hes fun. Only EVIL EQ would put a newperson zone, then a new person LIKE zone next to it with level 50 stuff....

but if your despirate and an enchanter... give elemental form a shot. I am NOT sure about scaled wolf form.

Dwarven Work Boots seem to be a lot of people's first magic boots. They are only ac8 str3 dex5. These are definitely good for my Shaman. Just wish there was more +wis on the totemic set.

I camped the orc chief for about an hour. He popped about half the time and dropped the tongue the third time he appeared. He spawns in the middle tent on about a 6-8 minute spawn time.

I camped tentacle terrors in Najena for about an hour and a half. I killed about 10 terrors before the terror spines dropped. I camped room 1 on the eqatlas map, where 2 terrors spawn on a slow 18min cycle.
Actually AC is king, and there's not much boot for a shaman
