Planes of Power The head that IDs with "Askr knows you have the power" is NOT looted from the giants. When you hand Askr one of the 3 types, this is the one you get back.
Just thought I would clear that up since I did not see i in any of the posts

tonight, my wife and I looted one from:
an irmin fannsk
a hleyta menn
and they summon. the hleyta had much less hp than the former.

There are multiple items called "Storm Giant Head." Did the ones you looted identify as "Askr knows you have the power?"
yep - we each gave the head in question to Askr, and it triggered the next step of the quest.

I was told by getting this head and something else i could get 2 AA points for the quest. can a level 63 who already has BOT still get the quest and AA points?

I still have the Storm Giants Head in my bag, i guess he doesnt keep it. i ran back and double checked to see if he would take it. When i Hail Askr the Lost, he said this
Askr the Lost says 'You have returned to me, but for what purpose? You already have the way to the Bastion of Thunder, so please make haste there and rid the storm giants! Only then may the balance that once ruled over these thunderous lands return to its rightful place.'
I gave him the storm giant head and Askr the Lost said ' I have no need for this item Gremwel, you can have it back.'
So you can keep it or destroy it.
Askr the Lost says 'You have returned to me, but for what purpose? You already have the way to the Bastion of Thunder, so please make haste there and rid the storm giants! Only then may the balance that once ruled over these thunderous lands return to its rightful place.'

These are LORE, but there are 3 different types: Srerendi (Ocean giants), Krendic (Desert giants), and Kelek`Vor (Forest giants). Any one of these three will do to start the BoT quest.
