I found out if you kite the diaku in the room to the left of the pit you dont get any adds and it is safe to run around in there. I was duoing with a 63 necro (me being a 61 druid) and we had 3 of these drop within 3 hours... i looted first, necro took second and we rolled on third... now all i need is the heart of Vakshiz the shade and the gem from BoT... we were also killing everything around the pit..we cleared the left side of the pit like 20 times...hope this helps in finding the trinket

ohh btw...dont go too near to the Diaku Death Knights...they harmtouch for 1049 and dot/snare...as long as you keep them moving you dont get anything cast upon you...

Dropped from a Diaku Scout last night.
I killed dozens of Diaku solo and it was the first time I saw a trinket.
