You can fish for fish scales in the Twilight Sea, merchant sells rod and bait.

Fish Scales can be vendor bought in Katta. From Master Nemetis (General Supplies). /loc is -766, -381, -101.
Down where all the Merchants are with elite spells and energians.

No longer available in PoK, by the pond.. This really sux.. Especially for lower level players.. :-( Think this is a real same to make it so hard to find fish scales... If fishing is not your trade skill, it is such a waste of time trying to get a stack of scales between sandles, nothing, and an occaisional fish.. *sigh*

There is a trader at Western buildings that sells fish scales. It's one of the dudes fishing there; not the barbarian - the other guy.

I just checked him. He doesn't have any now. You must have been fortuneate enough to browse his wares after an angler sold them off.

There is a fishing trough in Western POK, between the Guild Hall and the Bazaar. You can fish there and get the usual: fish, fish scales, etc.

Also sold in the Freeport Casters Guild by Lysin Smokkan. Think that they are sold on the docks... but am KOS... so am not going to check :)

Depends on your CHA and Faction of course. Bat wings sell for more, but it's amazing how you can sell both fish scales and bat wings in the Bazaar for 5gp each! It's like 90% profit or more, if you buy them in Freeport and sell them in the Bazaar.

Yes, one can obtain fish scales by fishing. Almost everytime I've fished on Norrath I've gotten fish scales. I haven't fished on Luclin though :)
