The reason the enchanter said that Intel. Supriority is an anti-fizzle rate spell is because when you put it into your spell book, that's what it says.

Hello seekers of the Emblem!

I have an extra Emblem of Nightmare and will trade for an Ivory Skull on the Nameless server. Look for the Cleric Handek Fait to trade.

Bless you my child. May the gods you worshop guide and watch over you.

Not trivial at 250 jewelcrafting.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jan 03 2003 at 12:00 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) in this site .. Trival 250 means u need 250 to even try it. I would suggest u have Geerlok and trade skill trophy. Also the anti fizzle spells (aka Int Superiority) also help as the check for success is the same as the Fizzle check :) and easy way to increase ur success.

WOW, every last thing in Izadrozny's post is dead wrong.

First, you don't need 250 to make these. I went 3/8 the other day at 199 jc + geerlok. Normally, I would have waited for a rfriend to do them, since she is near 100% for me on these, at 250 modified skill, but i had a customer waiting, and 8 diamond of storms in the bank.

Second, Intellectual superiority doesn't effect tradeskill successes in any way.

Third, Intellectual superiority is NOT A FIZZLE REDUCER. It makes you cast the spells as if you were several levels high, which DECREASES MOB RESISTS. In fact many people swear that it INCREASES fizzles. I can't back them up there, as i personally have not noticed an increased fizzle rate, but neither was it decreased.

Really amazing part is that this was coming from an enchanter, who should know what his/her spells do.

You needn't be 250 to try it. Trivial 250 here simply means what in many other places is referred to as >250 trivial... in other words, it never becomes trivial. On tradeskill combines, there is nothing related to fizzle checks. The only thing that effects your success rate is your effective skill level, which is your base skill level + whatever the highest skill mod you have is, with a hard cap at 252.
