emp has very low fire resisit btw, I've tanked him with this sword atleast a dozen times and I don't think ember strike was ever resisited.

dropped for us from the High Priest last night....not sure where else it drops. Say what you want about it...personally I think its a great weapon.

Idiots. 3 dmg only vs. Emp? No. Shissar bane rolls over all damage including its own bane. This is 19/20 against the Emperor, or any other Shissar for that matter. For such a limited use, it's worth it.

the fire damage is not base damage it is bonus damage. bane damage adds to base damage where as elemental damage does not.

Weapon with a higher base will always outdps a weapon with the same difference in max damage. You're trying to sound smart, but you're not doing a good job. Who cares about the base elem damage? Nobody.

High Priest drops this weapon. Seen it drop several times. Cursed drops the Render of Souls, which uses the same graphic and is a far better weapon than this.

Im fairly sure this weapon drops off one of the mobs in the cursed cycle in Ssra, i think cursed itself. Im positive that emp does not drop this.

Alternate weapon to the people who haven't been awarded the AHB by their guilds yet.
And with a deal of meeles using this (Much better than AHB Vs Emperor) farming him becomes vastly easier.
Who says that Verrant doesn't want us farming :)?

just wondering how yer figuring the damage goes down as you gain lvls?

The shissar bane damage on this weapon also means that the Emporer will take full damage from it. He is immune to any weopon without shissar bane. Normally to kill him a guild spends months getting the components to equip all melee with such weapons. Got this last week, and got to try it out on Emp an hour or two later, was hitting him very nicely, both damage and proc.

No, Shissar bane on a weapon makes the full damage of the weapon count. For example, a weapon with 10 dmg and 5 Shissar Bane will have 15 damage, this weapon, since it has Bane DMG to Shissar, will have the full 19 (provideing SV Fire checks)

I need something cleared up. If this is 13/20 with 3 fire and 3 bane to shissar, is this 19/20
against shissar if the fire check is not resisted?

Only to shissar though...otherwise if the fire isn't resisted then it's 16/20. If fire's resisted but you whacking at shissar then it's also 16/20. Nice blade either way though.
