Grimling Forest revamp seems to have altered the quest a bit, i hear cloak is all / all now, for the new ones anyways, still hoping to do the upgrade after this one if that part is still available, seems the required NPC to turn in satchel after Medallion of Hero of Shar Vahl & officers cloak are combined is missing :/

Very much revamped:
Cloak is now All/All, STR 8, DEX 5, STA 6, WIS 8, AGI 8 HP 40, MANA 40.
So more DEX and AGI, less STA, HP, and MANA
The hero cloak upgrade was removed completely, too... upon receiving the officer cloak you get nothing that indicates there is further questing to do and the NPC that the box containing the officer cloak and Hero medallion is handed to is now gone.
The hero medallion still drops, however it's MUCH easier to get.. took me and 6 other 56+ people to get it.

Officer cloak upgraded yet again. Not All/All anymore, it is now only VahShir wearable and all classes that they can be. 18 AC, 8 str, 5 dex, 6 sta, 8 wis, 8 agi, 50 hp, 50 mana, 3 to all saves).
Weight on the new cloak is only 1 now (notice the old one weighed 5 stone.) That's pretty kewl. Kind of miss those 4 STA tho. And they should have made the tailoring mod 5% instead of eliminating it all together.

WHAT? they took the tailoring mod off of the cloak? why in the world would they ***** over the vah shir quests like this! from what i read on this thread i gather that they took away the upgraded to this cloak, got rid of the class specificnes of the cloaks, AND did away the tailoring mod!! That bites, i realy wanted that cloak, I have spent hours killing green mobs to get the drops for the stupide quests, and now they lessen the reward for doin this long and extensive quest. That just bites the big one..

STR+8 more than compensates for the weight, while the STA+10 is worth reducing the weight of your other equipment for. Do BSTs get canni? If so, there's no question. If they don't....
This is an awesome back slot item. If you have better, go for it, but don't settle for worse just because you don't want to have to manage the weight.

And anywho, BLs don't have a weight restriction like monks.

This is a continuation of the Vah Shir Beastlord quest that gets you your first cloak & set of claws from your class leader in Shar Vahl. I believe to get to this point & your last set of claws it also pretty much requires one person of each class available to the Vah Shir to do something together in a group, yes all Vah Shir.
