Bieng a Magician I know my spells. Not yet owning a Spell: Summon Ring of Flight I am not sure if this information is correct.
This is a Ring of Levitation.
"Summon Ring of Flight" - I think that if a Magician summons that then it will be called a "Ring of Flight" not "Ring of Levitation"

Ok YES there is a ring that magicians can summon and giv eu to people u put it in your Finger slot and right click it if u have someone else targetted u just wasted a charge if not u got levitate it is No Rent i had 6 from gfay some magician was summoning them for fun and i took afew its nice to have if u wanna jump off spires or something ok so it is NOT a fake so get over it

as some guy that already posted earlier. this is a summoned ring from mages. yes we bored mages drop these on the ground and give it to npcs for the fun of it. however, it is a REAL item. if anyone needs one of these, go find a mage and ask him to summon you some.

Fought a burly gnoll in Black Burrow.
Go this ring off him.
It was no rent, so i used it.
Makes you float like dead man spell.
Only had 2 Charges.
Right click on the ring when you have equiped it.
Use it ONCE when you need too.
The second use works but the ring and the +4 ac disappear at the end of the spell.

I found this ring on the ground. I had no idea how to make it work. The next time I logged on it was gone. I'm sure glad I didn't sell the ring I had on that finger. EQ should change the description of this item.

the stats on this are wrong it says CHARGES: UNLIMITED but u can only use it 3 times.

how to use it is: put in slot and right click, you only get to use it 3 times and it goes away, it makes you levitate, of course, and it goes away in THIRTY MINUTS so use it wisely!

It costs 100 mana and the ring can be sold for 20pp. The spell can be brought in Ak'Anon, Erudin and Neriak.
It can also be researched, you need:

Star Rose Quartz
The ring casts Leviate - on either you or another player (targeted). It takes 6 secs to cast and has a recharge time of 6 secs. Unfortunatly, there are only 2 charges per ring.
Although, as a caster, you can summon as many of these as you wish.......

Actually a bargain in some circumstances.
Lev potion is over 150pp for a 10-dose. If you are a melee and know you will need this before logging (DL run, BW run, etc), it's more cost-effective than using your potion.

The text is completely different than ANYTHING else I have ever seen, it's a bad fake. Plus, if it was summoned, wouldn't it be no-rent? just look at this and look at the text for ANY other item, you'll see a big difference.

Mages do drop things like this sometimes just because it's easyer (and gives newbies a thrill when they find them). An update is due here, but I promise that nothing drops these unless a Mage is playing jokes by giving then to mobs.
I have never seen one of these rings so I will admit that I do not know, but if it is summoned how come it does not say no-rent above?

This ring was a very bad job of Hacking, they took the real ring of levitation (2 Charges summoned by the magicain spell Gift of Flight level 39) This ring never has existed!

Isn't this just the Magi summoned Ring of Levitation??? If not I would love to know where you get this =)
