I thought folks were saying it was any Goblin...
Well for me at least, that is not the case.
It WAS the case for killing the Goblins at the stone loc of 1290,-1447, 1
There were even greens ones to me at 45... lol
Killed the ones that were there already.
One spawn later, boom second mob had it.
10minutes
4 hours wasted.

Magelo shows a 10% drop rate from the crazed goblins. After killing 72 goblins and not seeing one I think they're full of ****. There are three goblins at the camp. The third one spawns up the hill a bit behind the stones.
Drop rates on anything Pre 2005ish in EQ tend to be pretty grim:

loc 1300,-1500 this camp has 2 possible spawns for crazed

Blade DOES drop off of 'a goblin' that spawn there.
Yep, just looted one tonight. Simply named "a goblin," at the same LOC as the crazed one. :)

NO DROP = NO TRADE. Sony had the tag of No Drop before a certain patch, and I guess people didn't read the manual and always complained and wondered if you could trade No Drop items.

Ran by the crazed goblin camp out of boredom with my 31 ranger... targeted a normal goblin there... killed him, and the blade dropped 1st kill... didn't even know what it was for... go figure...

Just wondering how often this gets droped i have been through about 30 of the crazed goblins in BB at the camp near the POK book. is this the right place to be hunting them.
Im chasing it for my goulbane guest so the epic so any help in this would be great

Just got one last night in BB. Killed about 30 too... wasn't even lookin for it (go fig /shrug), but I guess it is time for my pally to start the ghoulbane quest!

Went last night to get the blade (me 25 pally and 25 Chanter) Crazed Goblin was up with 2 Goblins all red. thought oh well thats that for a while. But chanter said give it a go so did.
Pulled the crazed and we took him down with out much of a fight. Went to loot and I must have had Tunare's blessing He had the blade first time :)
so just go there and if the gods look down on you as well you may get lucky as well.

I know that from time to time, when I've been within BB Zone.... Benevolent Warriors and Druids have announced via /ooc that "Blade of Nobility has dropped," while they've been camping the EG's for XP.
I applaud those citizens of Norrath who feel obligated to notify US "PALLY's" about the drop... Depending on the day... there is too little kindness in Norrath.... And we should maybe not Twink.... but instead encourage NeWbs ( I can say I'm not a newb @ lvl 11 right?) to progress and explore the world!!

Not just crazed goblins; Any goblin in that particular camp can drop it, although it seems to be most common from the crazed.

Part of the Ghoulbane Quest. Drops off the Crazed Goblins.
AGAIN, same thing with 'Golden Bandit Tooth', this isn't new. I know that my pally over 6 months ago got this from... gobbies in BB I believe. Been so long I can't remember. But this is a main item in the Ghoulbane quest, why is it called new as of Nov. 6, 2002?
Just to let ya know New Item section on Alla does not imply new to Everquest. It means new to the Alla database. This comes up every time something that no one has thought/bothered to send in for awhile gets sent in
