Can a 55 BST use this effect?
Yes. Got lucky on my beastie and someone forgot a zero in the bazaar. Snagged these pants for a song and had them made up 10mins later. The clicky is a bit slow (8secs vs 6.5 modifiable), and not modified by Focus effects or AA which is sad, but its a spell you wouldn't see until lvl 59, FREE, and a considerable upgrade to our level 55 one. I generally pull and kill 2 mobs then click to keep it up. Dont have to check timers, dont care. The pants stats are equivalent to most everything else i can get at 55 to nearly 60 when the Feran and stonehide HP's and AC will start to exceed them. The BP is nice to get as a group drop from BoT tower named for the clicky haste too as both of these will likely remain in your inventory for clicky's for years to come. Pants pattern can drop in Sol Ro and PoTactics off named as well as BoT giants.

You are only thinking for your BST that is allready 65.
My bst is 54 1/2 and I allready bought the pattern for him, so he can use it right away with 55. So I can use a spell with 55 that I only get at 59... you said: "wait for the level 63 spell taht is even better" 55 or 63 is a huge difference I would say...
For your level this item might be not wise (it is for 55 and up to 60), with your level you should head for the Leather Elemental Tranquility Armor anyway.

Some losers can level at rates that other folks with real lives could never comprehend. But I agree with you. If you can get them at 54, you are the envy of more. :)

go to the top and change filter to never filter then look you will see he wasnt even responding to that post that is immediatly appearent by default settings
I don't know about you, but it seems our pet haste takes a lot of mana =/ This is free mana. Use it when you need it.
Arag's Celerity is a much better spell than Sha's Ferocity. As someone said AC has 15 str, 11 ac, and 15 atk over SF, but it also has a huge duration difference.
Arag's Celerity lasts nearly as long as the pet proc line of spells which means 45 min + time modifiers from AAs and a focus effect. At lower levels, I had a hard time giving up Bond of the Wild simply because of its wonderfully long duration. Recasting a lower level pet haste every 17.5 min is a real pain and is not worth getting the cast for 0 mana. Clicky effects always have the downside of not getting time modifiers, and as a beast, when self buffed (+KEI) I commonly play with 15 buffs up.
Yes, I too would like the ornate armour to have better spells on them, but keep in mind it is not the best of the best of beasty gear in the PoP exspansion. That would be the elemental stuff. Check it out just for a reason to drool if you havent already done so. =)
Beasties lvl 63 and up spend the plat and buy Arag's Celerity. You will be very pleased you did.

Let me just say mana free anything is priceless and has saved my *** more than a few times. Anyone with half a brain will notice that the only real difference between the 2 pet haste spells is the duration. That is all you will notice!!! Not only do these pants have some sweet stats but once again MANA FREE ANYTHING ROCKS!!! If you want to save your money or are able to turn in the parchment for the new haste spell, go for it. If you would rather spend the 450 mana each time to cast that new pet haste go for it. And to all you "uber" people with your "uber" gear, there is always something better. So keep these posts clear to pass on useful information about the item because nobody cares what you're wearing.

Unfortunately I haven't gotten hold of these yet, but I'm looking forward to them. Here is my thought on the haste: I'm in a raiding guild on KB, and there are times when I have to spam pets on boss mobs. I'd love to be able to haste my pets (1) without having a spell gem dedicated to haste, and (2) immediately after the pet pops. (Remember, no spell recovery time restrictions on clicky items) Since I'm spamming pets anyway, haste duration is sort of irrelevant.

I have a high level necro that has the leggings that has the necro equivalent. I never use them. Having this effect is sort of crummy for "leggings" Maybe putting it on a bracer but not on leggings.

Yes, it should be the highest haste bst's get, but the difference is only 15 str, 11 ac, and 15atk, granted that might make a slight difference but it saves a spell slot, or for situations where you need don't have your pet haste up and it drops or is dispelled or something.
Also the nec pants, only the velious level pants have the very low pet buff. The ornate equivalent of these for necs have rune of death which is our highest pet buff, which I would kill to have on a clicky.

Yes you can buy the components for the ornate leather armor in the bazaar (for a very hefty price I might add). But you will need to be flagged for tier 3 zones like BoT or HoH to make the final combine to receive your leggings and actually wear them.
At least I'm flagged for PoV and PoS and I have a few of the flag quest components already for BoT...but I'm not celebrating yet. But these leggings are worth all the trouble imo.

hmmm actually these are probably going to get HARDER to get....
Simply opening up zones to lower lvl players that arent even capable of simply passing the EXE trial in POJ...is going to accomplish NOTHING but turning most of these zones into just high lvl Karnors where the Mobs in the trains will be hitting for 700+ instead of 100+..
also, of the zones they are about to ruin....only BOT/HOH/POT drop the Ornate patterns...
and off of the harder Mobs....
I believe if NOT flagged you still need to be lvl 62+ to enter these zones anyway...so "maybe" won tbe so bad......But still wont be any easier to get by any streech of the imagination...

Actually no they wont....mostly cause you still need a good group(s) for where these are located ... and face it a group of lvl 50's gunna have a hard time in teir 2 much less 3 zones. For sure therer will be a lot of training.
Who cares if you already have Arag's Celerity (better atk, ac and str pet buff + 45 min duration Vs the 20 min from Sha's ferocity ), in the long run the effect is useless. Stats are nice, cant beat 75 hp, not many no drop Bstlegs have this. Hope to get this soon. Need to get the trade skill up. Good luck.

The effect is the level 59 pet haste spell, nice to have, and since it has a rather short duration, these pants would save a ton of mana... not to mention have great stats ;) I agree, its about time some usable bst class armor was put into the game ;)

Unfortunately it's a pet only spell :)
The real unfortunately is unlike the tunic that has our BEST normal haste Alacrity they decide not to put our best pet haste on these and while they are close stat wise it is still very dissapointing.

Alacrity is second best regular haste we get too. We also get Celerity at 63.

These are more than just nice, these are great. Nice ac, Saves, and 75 hp, not to mention the stam and wis. All around great legs. Can't wait to see what the other pieces are like. Glad to see Beasts fianally getting some decent armor.

Damn straight!!! I think Beastlords have been jacked on some of the armour we can get, although i have survived pretty well, hehe i'm 52 and still stuck with my Wu's Pantaloons that a mate gave me at lvl 1.
Been after some new legs for quite some time, bought some Nathsar Leggings once but decided to sell them on for a quick profit. Was hoping to go to PoG again and pick some legs up there but now i think i will get these instead if i can.

at 52 you could easily get kromrif military leggings solo.
