Mid 50's ?
# Oct 31 2002 at 10:11 AM Rating: Decent

Mid 50's belt? Heh Better then what my cleric is wearing, at 61. I've never seen Archaic drop anything, tho I've always thought they should, since they seem higher level then others, and can't be slowed

Drops Off Junk Beast
# Oct 30 2002 at 3:36 PM Rating: Decent
I got this belt the second day after PoP went live off an Archaic Model. 3 group mini raid group did everything (outer ring)including Junk beast with little problems. This is a decent mid 50's belt. Better than my PoF belt stat wise. Most of the common drops can come off just about anything in the zone.

Here were some of the drops:
Broken Drive Belt
Large Smooth Torque x3
Pile Drive 30/36 1hb (lost roll) =(
AC15 +10 wis Druid/BST/SHM/Monk chest x2

Decent exp also. I got 2 blue in 2hrs.

RE: Zoning into trains in PoI and wiping whole raids

If you've ever been in PoI you'll have noticed that there are often 2-3 groups pulling single mobs (2 if you're unlucky) to the zone-in area. That's because respawns are pretty fast in the zone and you need a good group to survive further out. If you can't pull without getting a train, you have nothing to do in this zone, of course, and it gets messy if more than two or three groups use the zone-in area. Even if groups are fighting there, it's quite safe to zone in, since the groups should know what they're doing, and keep adds mezzed, and the targets should be aggroed on the MA of the group. Besides, you can zone out in a couple of seconds if you want. I hope this will allay any fears you may have of this zone.

Random drop?

I was in a group for a few hours and two of these dropped, from mobs we were pulling to the zone-in area. I can't remember exactly what mob dropped it. Won the roll for one, goes to one of our guild clerics Smiley: smile Today, however, none of these dropped during 3-4 hours of fighting, although a couple of other nice items did. Really not a bad item for priests.
