Regular, Velious, and Planar tailoring.

These sewing kits are able to do regular, Planar and Luclin tailoring. It does _not_ do cultural tailoring.

Edit: Confirmed that the Planar Sewing Kit does Luclin tailoring.

never mind...I was going to whine about having yet ANOTHER container to carry around, but then I read you can do regular tailoring in them.

What about Luclin tailoring?

But how could I possibly give up an old family heirloom like my Deluxe Sewing kit?
Good news!

Actually this came up at Fanfaire. The Planar Sewing kit will do Coldain or regular tailoring as well!

They also kind of sheepishly acknowledged that people would keep their 10-slot Deluxe sewing kits on them :)

#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 18 2002 at 10:07 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) deluxe sewing kits are NOT no drop. I moved two between characters today. You have a no drop item IN your sewing kit, thats all.

Perfect n00b Bags

I don't even play a monk but I see a no-weight 8 slot bag and I think: "Sweet! Let's see how much ammo I can stuff in here ..."

Need to go and grab some of these b4 VI rethinks and make them LORE. Now to see how difficult the mob is that drops them ...

Actually these would make perfect n00b bags for carrying around quest items in Shade Weaver's Thicket. I had so much crap/stuff from the Ghulam Armor quests that I was always going to the bank to empty out my Medicine Bundles.

Just my 2 cents

If the weight really is zero then these would be really good to have, otherwise backpacks work just fine, and backpacks are quite easy to come by (even in Shadeweaver's thicket).

My BST isn't having any issues with weight yet at level 12, and I have backpacks coming out of my ears (they drop off the little alien looking guys sometimes if I remember right)... I've even had to destroy 2 or 3 backpacks because I didn't have any room for more bags Smiley: smile

..but I'll be getting at LEAST 1 of these based on the kewl name alone!

Well, the odds are the weight is not 0.0 everytime a new item is added into alla and there is no picture with it, it seems to always get defaulted to 0.0

Yeah if we don't know the weight, it defaults to zero, so never assume an item with a zero weight and no picture is actually zero weight. Usually, someone sends us the correction and we set it right sometime after we add it.

My Halfling Ranger bought one. They weigh 3.0, the same as a regular Large Sewing Kit. And you can do regular tailoring with them.
