Not worth selling

The stats are so bad for the recommended level I don't even bother trying to sell them, I just give to tribute.

These arent THAT common, but they drop off of A Ravenous Nightstalker. I have had them drop 1 time per day (3 to 4 hour days) the past 4 days...the stats are WAY under the reccomended level to wear it which is probably why they sell so cheaply in the bazaar...a 50th level will have better, so im sure they are selling so cheaply because of that.
Great deal

These sell for a really low price, in the bazaar i got one for 1 copper. Its usually cheap anyway but its still a really great deal.
Gargs Too

Have gotten these off of both gargoyals and ravens, so might be just a random drop on mobs of a certain lvl.

Just finished playing in PoN and 3 of these dropped in the space of 2 to 3 hours. Pretty good drop rate, imo.

Picked one up for 50 plat the other night in the bazaar, but since the recommended level is 50, all the stats for the piece are cut in half. Hey, it's something to look forward to, right? Nice that it has no graphic as well, lets you see my beautiful froggie colors.

Dropped Right Away

First blood soaked raven my group killed my first visit to PoN dropped one of these. Also had the gloves drop within a 2 hour period of moderate pulling. Not uber common, but a item drop a session for hunting lawn trash can probably be expected.

What I find interesting is how these drops, along with Weighty Polearms and other Planar Lawn Trash Drops are going to do to the Bazaar economy.
Are these super common?

Are these REALLY common or what... I got on last night for 100pp! I almost shat myself ... 100pp for those stats, c'mon do these drop like water or what?

Perhpas not super common, but I get both the leaf scale gloves and the metal linked crown while camping birds and spider hatchlings and gnarled treants for only a few hours. So yes, they are a common enough drop as not to be that hard to get.

Im not too sure as ive only killed about 30 ravens and havent seen barely any loot drop off them at all...their parts seems to be the most common. But, as to your question on the price I would say the low price could be explained if your a shaman as theres tons, tons, tons of other stuff out there for your head that costs little more and is better. For a ranger there is far less to chose from but still pretty easy to find something. And well, as for a rogue...why the hell would u want it anyways. Paying for 6 wis no matter the cost (unless free and thats obviously not "paying") as a rogue would be a waste of time and money.

Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing. There were five of these for sale last night in the Bazaar on Sullon, where prices are typically much higher than other servers. Three were in the 350-500 range, one was 150, and the fifth was 100 plat, so I scooped that one. I won't get full benefit for quite a while, but with Save Magic on it, it's a nice head slot piece right now.

I won one of these when it dropped off a wraith today...which is good b/c I was doing exp by the hedge the last 2 days and this, along with one Parchmant, were the only drops I saw the whole time (about 16 hours total). Great exp though -- got 2.5 AA's and 36% closer to 57 doing Banshees and Wraiths. :)

Got this for only 450pp in Bazaar last night. (Was one for 400pp but another Shammy got it a split second before I could)

There's no graphic. Personally I don't mind though. Stats are good enough to not care too much anyway. :)

Yup, my big bald head shines through!

I like it that way actually, since my face is more visible.
Drops off Werewolves, Too
# Nov 14 2002 at 6:36 AM Rating: Decent
We had two or three of these drop off ravenous nightstalkers last night. Very nice for shammies, probably very nice for rangers too, although rangers might find the tradeoff of AC for WIS less acceptable.
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 24 2002 at 6:42 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Ummm... Shaman and Ranger I get. Wis caster's both, but Rogue's? And no Cleric's? What's up with that? /shrug Who can ever tell with Verant.....
RE: Cleric?
# Oct 27 2002 at 11:06 AM Rating: Decent
Similar to Velious, All are Chain wearing classes.

Rog, Shm, Rgr all compete for the chain pieces in the velious armor quests
RE: Cleric?
# Oct 24 2002 at 7:22 PM Rating: Decent
I have noticed armor specific to Chain wearing classes. There has always been plate specific and cloth specific, But chain and leather are almost always shared with other classes.
Seem they are making drops for only the chain wearers in this case.

Aye, seems to being an increasing trend.

If you notice, most PoP items are like this. its like going to velious and looting your armor class piece, except with stats. Plate Classes get their own, chain, leather, and silk get theirs. look at the rest of the items in the db, either its war clr brd pal shd, rog shm rng, bst dru mnk, or enc wiz mag nec. should make it easier to say "this is good for this class" kind of thing.
