its ok. The other factions that are raised are antonious bayle..which is a key faction in the nobility badges..and you also get a large faction bonus at the end because you helped that one merchant.

but dont you get some faction for the merchies at the end? i remember doing so, so they may like you in the long run. also you can get this from giving muffins to wenbie

For all the faction you lose with the merchants, whats the use of an only 1 cha ring? I'll pass...

um... i have a brass ring and it has no good aspect other than +2ac , nothing about charisma!
That would be a brass EARring.

This is a quest reward, not just the normal Brass Ring

Its an easy quest to get, at level 1 its worth it. still the faction you lose is kinda bad. Unless you really need CHA, then try for the EXP not the ring.
