Would this focus effect (Haste II) help to increase the casting speed of items with effects? For example, the Deepwater helmet takes about 10 seconds to cast. Would wearing the Fine Antique Corset help to decrease that casting time? I'd appreciate any information regarding this. Thank you.

It doesnt effect the clicky effects of items unfortunately. I have the Spell Haste II focus effect on a face slot, and my Elder Spiritist Vambrances with Drones of Doom, still takes the full ammount of time to cast. Spell casting time is greatly reduced though! My port spells cast much faster which is awesome!

I'm not sure but maybe the focus effect of Spell Haste 3 would help Elder Spiritist's Vambraces. Even though the spell itself is below 44, the clicky is not usable until lvl 45. So unless you have a spell haste 3 item to test it with I am unsure if you are correct in claiming that they don't work at all. Just an observation.
No, I'm pretty sure that clicky effects speed is not affected, and the mana cost would not be affected either. I'm not sure about durations, etc. I'll have to test that one out.
I assume that if the focus items don't effect casting times on click-activated items, then no focus items effect anything on click-activated items, though someone could test it out and maybe prove me wrong...

I have used a tanglewood shield (ensnare) and elder spirit arms (drones) and I know that when Extended Affliction existed, it worked on those. Hope that helps.

Burning Affliction works on procc'ed DoT's, my SK has them work off his weapon procs
It decreases the amount of time required to cast any spell 44 and below..I am not sure how much I think its 20percent though
But it does not include complete healing for clerics.

level 10!? well, i know what im doing soon! hehe, man alive, 2 hard to get up resistances, and, yes AND, Spell Haste 2my goodness, im going there now.
Actually, the level for this quest is 1. You don't have to kill anything at all to get these quest items. All four items are foraged items... and they are all tradeable, so if you can't forage, you can get someone to forage them for you.
Verrant is popping out them focus items faster than white trash ho-bags pop out children.
