I've got one of these, and the place I've found it is most useful is in fungusgrove when I solo... pop out the bow, take a shot, swap back to the sv disease vial, and with the 20 sv poison/disease belt from umbral, and the ac19 sv disease +25 gauntlets from fungusgrove, you can be basically untouchable by all of the spells that the shrooms cast. works like a charm.

This item, which is the Flesheater's rarest drop by a solid margin, is the "missing" color of the Resistance Stones that dropped off Ventani the Warder in the pre-Sleeper Sleeper's Tomb (and may drop again - I am not certain as of this writing). There were originally only 4 such items, SvDisease having been overlooked.
It won't be useful, often. But it is nice to have, and comes in handy in the half-dozen or so disease based encounters (and likely will do so again in the Plane of Decay.)

Actually the Plane of Decay *cheers to his lord* will force you to have a decent disease resistance as resist checks are performed upon entering the plane, if you fail you'll take damage for breathing the foul air while you're in the plane.
a nice item to use against mobs that will try and slow you (ie lizards aoe slow in CT or the red shojens in UP). It's a bit odd that the other saves (fire/cold/magic) drop in ST and the disease one drops here.

Actually, bile is produced in the gall bladder, and is very different from vomit. Vomit is processed food that has been partially dissolved by gastric fluids.

However, bile is often a component of vomit. Both the bile and the vomit responses are contained in the same portions of the brain. Often, both occur at the same time, when ill.
