Difficulty in farming the components for this armor compared to most high end cultural armors makes this obsolete. Agreed the trivial level is lower but most smiths would choose to make their cultural anyway because it will sell alot better.
Compared to a Dark Prince regent bracer for instance (Dark elf made, innoruuk deity armor) 25ac 5wis 5vsAll 30hp/mana, and the toughest thing you have to kill is a bunch of shadowed men for the temper.

Ah, but Daiko, you forget the AC bonus that iksar receive. However, compared to the majority of the high end cultural armor, this stuff is rather difficult to get the materials. Not to mention that it locks out most younger smiths with the skill, since they'd need to be 51+ just to get a chance at gathering components.
yes iksar do get ac bonus, but even so, it doesnt make up for the pure ac of the other races cultural, thereby putting iksar cultural in the toilet for usefullness
Aye, Iksar cultural stinks in comparison, even with Iksar AC Bonus... I still want to make it though... just for tradition... maybe wear it during weddings... I just hope they don't mind me coming to weddings wearing puke-green colored banded... yah... they couldn't even give us the Ry'gorr chain look...
