usefullness

while any class can clearly benefit from using this Item I think that it would probably be the most usefull to a shaman or even more so to a necro

How insightful. He believes it should go to a shaman AND WOW, just by coincidence he plays a shaman. Greed is alive and well in EQ.

Yes, gree is alive and well, and so is stupidity. While he may have made that remark out of greed, he probably said it because shamen and necros both benefit more from STA than any other caster. While a druid would LIKE more sta for more HP a shaman would require it. Last time i checked druids didn't eat themselves for a living.

The horror constuct is spawned as a result of handing the completed Phononomicon to the Living Void - a quest that is detailed elsewhere on the site, iirc, but involves acquiring a number of rare drop items from named mobs in various corners of 4c, minitemple, and mud temple. He looks like the dracoliche and is a fairly obnoxious opponent. Don't expect to see too many of these; the drop items are rather hard to actually GET to drop.
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 09 2002 at 11:09 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Being a lvl 30ish druid, and the fact that I work in a book store in RL I could see my char carrying around this in the range and keeping the testament of vaneer in the secondary slot, so if any of your uber guilds on drinal get this feel free to send a tell to your lovable book lover thx
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 09 2002 at 11:11 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) arg didn't see the rec level of 51, well i'd hold on to it until then
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 09 2002 at 3:30 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) He said droppable.....Most all of VT loot is no drop.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but this would have to be one of the highest dropable WIS/INT/STA range item in the game.

Very nice item.

RE: no AC?
# Oct 08 2002 at 9:12 PM Rating: Decent
For stats like that I could forget the no ac, gettin that kind of wis and sta in the range slot is almost unbelievable. Any druid cleric or shaman I know would be extremely happy with this.
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 09 2002 at 8:01 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This is definately a monk item... range slot, only WT:1, +12 STA, +25 HP and decent saves. This is a better range item than a Golden Idol of Quellious/etc.

I wish your monk luck bidding against all the caster classes out there. Besides being a stupid thing to say, if you can get this item without having to buy it then you'd know how many other better items are out there for monks. Idol of the Thorned is on par with this item for a monk.

WHAT!?!?!?!?! A monk item. Does 12 Wis mean nothing to you? Try priest class (druid, shaman, cleric) period. End of story.

Stupid monls thinking everythings for them. Just look at todays postings. This amd the new bone mace and you are the best druid on the game!

True anyone can use but the fact that it has the Int/Wis AND Mana bonus is a great factor in why it should not only be Priest but Pure casters, IMHO its Very nice for anyone to get.
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 08 2002 at 9:20 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) "any druid, cleric, or shamen" ? dude, anybody could use this. even monks. roflmao
