There are about 24 ancient shriekers to kill, and I have been getting about 1 fungoid sap per clearing of these shrooms.
4 drops for me in about 25 mins. I am pretty sure they changed drop rate.

Pretty sure they changed the drop rate on this since I got 5 in 30 minutes but sap was only dropping in one spot. Once you cross the invis bridge hand a left and work that area on the next right. They also spawn on the right side after invis bridge but fewer mobs and none of them dropped a sap for me. Hope this helps and gl.

In there for two Hours Killing Ancient Shriekers, not ONE drop. Good luck on getting any. BTW Thank You SONY for more aggrivation.

got 3 of these in about 1hour of farming for the seru weps, 65sk/bl/wizy is all and we do them pretty constantly. its rare but not that rare.

Seems they are now social. I went there solo as a beastlord as I have before to get some sap, but they could care less if one another were about to get beat up. One slow and I had 6...needless to say, it was ugly.
OT gate hammer saved the day though!
Oh and the drop rate for me solo before was about 1 every 45 min. So that would be clearing one entire side and getting maybe 1 per side. I dont know about how much it drops now, but the beastlord epic part drops off them very often.

Saw this on sale for 30k in the Bazzar on Quellious, I presume that this is the rare link in the whole Yttrium weapons thing. The rest of the pieces were in the bazaar for beteen 3p and 50p each.
Group of 5 went in for shards and killed the ancient shriekers while killing the spawns of horror gaurds. We got 5 shards and not a single sap.
