Id love to have one of these for my warrior. But I can understand where some would see it as crap. I imagine if your in a guild and able to raid this zone your probably going to all ready have better then this.

this is crap for any class/race. icetooth claws are about the same dmg/dly ratio as these!!!!!

As this is a piercing weapon this should be available for SHAMANS too
It's a heavy melee piercer type only. Which means Warrior, rogue, shadow knight, ranger, & bard. The support characters aren't classes for it.

Actually it should be available to Beastlords. Most Claw's and Piercer's are usable by BL's but this is just my 2 cents. Will stick with the epics, when I can get them . . . =)

No WIS, no mana, no resists, no proc... yeah, this has shaman written all over it. NOT.
Insanely awesome weapon or neckpiece, mind you, but useless for a shammy for obvious reasons.

Erf, play a shaman to 60 and you'd have some sort of clue.
I wear wicked mail which has 75hp and 15 wis on it, and I'd trade it in a second for a cheastplate of vindication. That's acrificing like 250 mana for 9ac 25hp 5svall :p

Actually, you just might be some sort of idiot. There are quite a few piercing weapons out there which are not available to Shamen. Ashwood spear and the netherbian unguis are two decent lower level piercers which come to mind. And check out the Premier Lance of Secundae. It is a piercer that neither shamen NOR rogues can use. Don't let this become one of those silly "EVERYTHING in the game should be monk-only!" arguments. Just because it is piercing doesn't mean it has to be or even should be a shaman weapon.

Considering where this is comming from...no. 5 sta and +75 HP and about 14ac (with agi figured in) in any slot this can fit into is crap. It's a fantastic melee weapon. 12/19 is hard to ignore. It makes a decent neck peice. 12 AC/75 hp is good for that slot. But for a caster, no mana, no stats, no saves. Yes I understand that shammy get pounded on occasion. That dosen't mean that this is good. Go hunt down a few dragons that drop talismans. +4 to +7 to all your stats and saves as well as bonus hp/mana. Even if your a firm follower of CoV faction you can kill Zandacar for an extra tailsmain to wear. Or do the Quey Badge of Nobility. As far as hand slots go...plenty of good shields with alot more AC, wis, and extra HP if ya realy need that instead of more mana. You could have your epic at 55, even if you don't there are much better primary weapons for shammy out there than this. Maybe a shammy would want this for solo-ing. Then again, don't shammy spells and pet do MUCH more damage than the shammy could hope to put out in melee?
