Are these usable by a Vah Shir Shaman? I like to do the quests just to do them :) I notice in the actual item description its shaman only but the kittie class isnt there.

the game and the armors
# Dec 10 2002 at 2:21 AM Rating: Default
they made the armors in this game so bad that they give wisdom and int to warriors and agility to wizard i dont get it why would a wizard need agility?
or a warrior need wisdom?
pls someone tell me cuz i dont get how this game was set up. and the rarity of the items ,the quests, the epic , ugh i dont understand this game pls some one tell me why the heck this game is so hard to understand

AGI raises AC, and a WIZ can't really take the **** being kicked out of him for very long, so if I were one I wouldn't mind some AGI tacked onto an item.

Well it is useful in some ways, for you to raise your tradeskills a high WIS or INT will give you bonuses to the skill, so the bonus this gives could help get skill ups.

Wizards maybe able to use higher STR to carry more gear from place to place but I admit that is a stretch

Life doesn't always make sense, and neither does EQ.
ouch

These things suck...I dont need the Int, and the AC is terrible.
#Anonymous, Posted: Dec 04 2001 at 11:30 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) totemic is a joke, int that we dont need, the helm has good stats. junk

Shammys are trolls ogres and barbs, they all need all the int. they can get - OK int bonus is dumb, but decent AC for gloves -
int?
# May 05 2001 at 11:26 PM Rating: Default
Why int?
It doesnt do a shaman any good?

If you look at all that stuff. Cleric quest armor has INT. Rogues get WIS and INT on Woven Shadow and Ravenscale. Bards don't really need all the stuff that they get on Lambent. It's just to give variety I suppose. Also INT and WIS help on Trade Skills I think....
RE: int?

Actually tradeskills, like a lot of other skills, go off of whichever is higher. So unless some poor shaman has a higher Int than Wis, the bonus here is completely useless.

INT Helps gaining in tradeskills.
WIS Lowers the chance you have in failing in tradeskills.

Not sure where you got the idea they were the same thing.

Dude, Wis doesn't help with failure rate. That's just an old wive's tale.

actually, they were right. Which ever is higher wis or int, is the stat that is used to determine skill level increases. Other stats for different skills determine chance of success / failure (STR for smithing for example)

You are partly right about smithing. Smithing uses the highest of either Str, Wis, or Int.
Good hunting all
Easy

Easiest of the Totemic to get.
