Which is better to wear, crescent or wu's?
Crescent is better but if you still have your Wu's gloves, keep them in your outside inventory for a great light source.
Once you save up some money for some Silver Chitin Handwraps, that's a great replacement for the Crescent Gloves.

Personnaly I do not really like Silver Chitin Hand Wraps for Monks. You should go for a Haste item that does NOT go in Hand slot, so you still have your Haste item when you get your Epic. Epic Haste is a song so it stacks with item Haste. It is your choice, but I do not like SCHW.

But after you get your epic sell your SCHW and get FBSS you should have enough money from the gloves.
Better yet, by the time you get your epic you'll probably have enough money to sell the SCHW and buy a better waist-slot Haste item with AC; FBSS is much cheaper than SCHW these days, but I'd much rather have that extra 10AC for the next 20-odd levels while saving up some cash to go towards future replacements... post-nerf, high AC is vital for any Monk who gets hit much.

Good for the extra sta, and dex if you need to raise weapon skills. Otherwise I'm not too sure these are worthwhile for a lvl 40 monk.
I have a lvl 41 monk and most my armor is better than this and i have never bought any of it...i either found it exploring...or a few friendly iksar monks gave me some of it on one of my many trips to the bank 8) and i still have a few pieces of wu...cloak...hands...wrist...and i would like to know what i should try to look for next...i am mainly concerned with AC not as much as stats...but sta/agi/dex increases would be nice
where should i hunt and what to look for...and whats that blue armor i see all the monks round my lvl wearing(with the new SoL graphics at least its blue)???
i also need better head and neck the 1s i have now are too heavy for what i want...still under weight tho 8)

I got mine today from a kly evoker I think. It was on the second floor. Have never even been to the 3rd floor. Also got shoes on 2nd floor as well. Thats my 2 cps

at the top it says it is just magic but in the picture it says they are no drop which is correct?

All crescent armor is unfortunately no drop my friend...

I don't think these will drop off the Overseer. Anything is possible, but I got mine off a follower also and saw another set come off a follower. All the research I have done indicates they specifically drop of the Kly Follower. He is much lower level than the Overseer. But, again I'll say, anything is possible.

Ive gotten 2 pairs of these on the 3rd floor both from the Kly Follower

Got mine on third floor off follower, afterward we killed overseer he didnt drop anything =(
