I've hunted HS on virtually all my characters since around 6 months after Kunark came out. Tonight was the first time I've ever seen one drop. It came off a bottomless devourer in North wing (the one on the key dropper PH, in fact.) Still a decent twink weapon even in this day and age!

I was in the bazaar on Druzzil Ro with my 28 paladin looking for a twink weapon and I saw this with no reccommended level and a 1.333 ratio. It was on sale for 300 PP! I tell you what, someone got the shaft on the other end of that purchase, but I'm very happy! :-)

I can beat that, was in the bazaar today and I saw this for 150pp. Awesome weapon for that price.
A vendor in PoT was selling it for 100pp.
I gotta friend with one of these suckers and hell I tried it out on my 60 Paladin and I hit about 130-140 dmg average with 1hb maxed out, currently farming HS for one of these things. Btw thats with Avatar proc on :-P

What and where drops this sweet item. Is there any procs? Also how much can i buy 1 for?

It has no procs. It appears to drop randomly off of UNNAMED mobs in the east end of Charasis. I've only seen it drop once, so it's not common.

I just bought this for 100pp FROM A VENDOR in PoK!! I don't see how everyone thinks this is such a pricy item. I agree it is a great weapon but not that expensive if you can find it. Works great with Instrument of Nife added. Sweet!!

Got it last night in the East Wing.
It came from The Howling Spectre (note its not "A howling spectre" - its a named mob). Not overly tough but our group were all made of high 55+ experienced HS fighters with the main tank and rogue all using epics.
Nice little toy, much better than the WS (25/40) or MoSS (19/29). Can't see it costing more than 10K if such a thing ever shows up on the open market.

I'd be really interested in getting one of these since there are FEW good paladin weapons around (and those are usually really rare)

THIS THING ROCKS! I am hitting for the same dmg I did with my Wurm, but alot faster. I cant waite to get another FBSS so I can way kick some butt. BTW, anyone who dosent have one, try to get even though they are very rare on my server. I got a deal for mine, hehe, traded a fbss for the RoF and a Clay Guardian Shield...

People take one look at that delay and assume it sucks, but your grouped pretty much all the time with someone that can haste or have haste items yourself. It's more than easy to turn this into an uber rod with stats around dmg24 dly15 or so

a NERF is when something is weaker, or SOFTENED, like a NERF ball. The Darkmetal Falchion change isn't a nerf.

Yeah this is a really good item, only other thing that can compare to it for a paladin is a crystal dragon shard and its only 2 less delay but comes from charasis

For paladins, this is one of the best weapons you can get, if not the best. You will want to practice your one handed blunt just for this item.
The boosting effects are really a add on to a great weapon. This weapon is often over looked becuase its no a one handed slash weapon. Pallies would rather get the wurmslayer and fiery avenger than get this bad boy, which is very ignorant of you weapons!
