Since this is not a "must equipt" item, could a druid use it from inventory?
Preserved chokidai vocal cords are DRU useable and they have the same effect as these.
NO ... class is Nec and Mage ... which means only those classes can click from inventory ... same with other clickies like mask of deception (de illusion from Lguk for bard/rogue)

That is true of this item and the mask of deception but is not always the case. For example Amulet of Necropetence is NEC WIZ MAG ENC but anyone is able to click it from inventory.

If you have some imagination these are great to roleplay wtih, expecially for mages, but works for necros just as well. For instance...

There is no "must equip", which means you can activate from inventory...
I play a magi of the 52nd circle and I was wondering what these look like if you dont have a robe on? I sometimes dont wear a robe and wear a netted kelp tunic for the resist fire bonus. any info would be nice. looking to buy on Ayonae Ro, send a tell to garll or Vumdiar. Thanks and peace out.
These have the leather look, with a default color of a very dark maroon.

A mage at 39 cannot trigger these or even equip these. Just FYI, they are useless before 51 for a mage. At least that is from my experience thus far.

Yellow jungle spider drops these, found in Maze in CT - rare spawn is named "Noxious". Drops some other stuff, can't recall what. Scored these yesterday with a group pulling to Wizzy port.

Magicians have been asking for Voice Graft since the spell's inception. Well, this certainly isn't as good as a spell scroll with MAG listed on it, but at least you have access to the spell now. :)
Voice graft available to a magician? That could be fun.
