On Ragefire today I tried to train forage at my trainer , having a skill of 211, but this appeared to be not possible. 200 is the max the trainer will take you to on TLP.

Tried ToV, but after 45 minutes, had zero eggs. Read some about certain things being on a higher forage table, saw my druid was 200/200, got AA to get him 200/250, went to PoK druid trainer and got my druid 250/250 and headed to Western Waste and am getting a lot of wurm eggs, drake eggs and up to 5 dragon eggs in less than an hour.

Not sure if it was ToV, going to 250/250 or WW, but not too bad to get eggs for dough now and will stick to just going to WW to forage em.

Also, don't even bother if you're not a druid or ranger and if you can go 250/250, do it and then go to a trainer to get it to 250. Not sure using the skill raises it past 200.
Dragon Egg

Many baking recipes use eggs in them to make other ingredients such as egg batter. Now some eggs produce more egg batter (or whatever you are making) than other eggs. Dragon eggs are some of the best, producing 20 items usually, ans so demand the best prices in the bazaar.

Only indirectly. It's used to make Dragon Egg Oil (listed above), which in turn is used to make Epicthieck's Lubricating Goo.

These Dragon Eggs now are being sold for 865pp in Bazaar. This is highway robbery. This needs to be lowerd please. These are not that badly needed. If we need them that bad, I rather go to the Temple of Veeshan myself.

Had a few of these on my vendor for many weeks at 249pp per with no takers. then today, within an hour, the entire lot were sold, each to a different person.

Maybe coincidence, but this could indicate a use for an OoW recipee or for an epic 2.

I have the best success foraging these in Temple of Veshan. You get a lot more wurm and drake eggs here also. We used to go the ToV a lot to farm armor, and I would always get at least 4 of these in about 2 hours time.

It only took me 10 mins to forage one of these in Western Wastes - just stuck close to where the slain dragon is (not far from Siren's Grotto zoneline)

Chance to Forage
# May 30 2003 at 1:06 AM Rating: Decent
With a 200 (max) Foraging skill and having spent several hours in Western Wastes, frequency of Dragon Eggs appears to be about 1% (one in every 100 foraging attempts). Wurm and Drake eggs are a bit higher.

When combined with water in a brewing barrel, dragon eggs product Dragon Oil. This is used in the creation of the Blessed Fishing Pole... one of the gifts in the Protection of the Cabbage spell quest.

They're also the bottleneck piece, in my experience. I've paid anywhere from 10 to 250pp for these things, and I always buy when I see them for sale.

Eekkks. I did not know that they were the bottleneck item. I don't know how many I have tossed, eaten, or fed to pets over the last couple months.
