Rather amusing that for a time around 2003 this club was head slot enabled... unicorn?

Anyways, the old item screenshot is really cool, but does not reflect this item being made available to all shaman races in a patch years ago. So... we need an updated item window pic.

Also, it would be nice to see a pic of someone wielding this (especially an original model Iksar doing an animation --there a challenge!).

Although... it would be interesting to see a Iksar with a mace on the top of his head running around headbutting everything! ;) hehe

I have 2 Shammys, 1 a Barb, 1 an Iksar...both started with blunt weapons, as all do, I simply trained a point in both blunt and piercing, and got a spear to use. I haven't waited to get the epic to train in it, and I've managed to cap both skills for the levels of the characters. Waiting to train in a skill till you get the epic piece seems to me to be very poor planning. Why not be prepared, so that when you do get it, you can use it to it's full potential?

I never worried about blunt ... My shaman was my second character so I had a piercer to give him ... worked on piercing patiently waiting till I could afford a Rune Etched Icewurm Fang (still waiting at lvl 50 how sad) but I also ignored the shm quests ... now I'm kickin myself for it ... I'm gonna start workin on 1hb and doin my club quests ... gonna be super super boring killin all those lvl 1 mobs at lvl 50 lol. Least my pet will make fast work of it.

I really bet there's this guy sitting in a chair somewhere at EQ HQ who just waits, and says I'm gonna let this loser kill 600 lvl 2 mobs before i let him have the skulls. Then, he says, why don't i make it interesting and add dupe skulls, just to make this loser kill 80 outcasts, not to mention that the stats are the same as they were on the first club, except for...Tada, it now has range and is magic. A friend and I camped this thing for like 2 hours, and both almost died of boredom, do this at lvl 5 when you're supposed to.

in the under water tunnel, there is like 4 places to come out of the water, 3 of these you come come up out of the water on to ledge, use the 8 and 9 key together to get up out of the water, dont leave the rooms into the halls, wont help, stay in each room and kill everything that spawns in the room, wont take long, i got a different skull in each room, took me like 2 hrs), good luck, and I was level 9, and didn't need any help.
Getting out of water

When you reach the open areas in the underwater tunnel. how the heck do you get up the side wall. I pushed space bar but it didn't work. Or do you blast them with a spell and fight in the water?

you look straight up and hold forward, circle around the walls of the open areas and you should hop up in one spot, good luck
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 30 2001 at 12:15 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I find it strange that a Shaman starts out and his series weapon quest is a 1HB when his/her partical weapon is a piercing one. Does this make since to anyone else, if so please explain it to me.

Druid's epic = 1hs, starting = 1hb
SK's epic = 2hs, starting = 1hs
Paladin's epic = 2hs, starting 1hs

Point being, there is no reason your starting weapon has to match your "epic" weapon result.

Sure, but it seems that iksars shamans, warriors and shadow knights have to train with at least 2 different weapon skills, because their "cultural" weapons series are different skills from their particule ones.
It's easy for a paladin to pick a good 2HS nearly at the begining of his life. The same goes for druids. Besides, druids are nearly never using their weapons in melee at the end game. Thus, having a 0 skill in 1HS is fine when they got their epic.

Iksars can't ignore these lignes of weapons, because they are nicely appropriate for their level and help them to ignore "camping" other kind of weaponry...
Until they can quest for their epic... :S
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 22 2001 at 12:25 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) The picture clearly shows only iksars can wield this weapon...
