Different colored light

Wisps that carry this (and the absorption stone also if i remember right) throw off a orange colored light instead of the normal whitish-blue. They stick out if they are near a regular wisp. Ive collected many, merchants dont give much (5p and 8p for this and absorption stone but i forgot which is which)and with 1 charge they dont sell well in baz so i usually just use the charge on the next mob, and the stone disapears.

Can be used to blind players in Duels/PvP. Not a bad item for a non-blind-casting PvPer.

In Robert Jordons book series about Vlad Taltos the characters use Flashstones to blind and injure otehr.

I wouldn't think this was copyright infringement, but I thought you should know

Steven Brust wrote the Taltos series. I happen to know, because I've talked to him about his books. And yes, they do use flashstones, but Brust will rarely turn down publicity, though his books are good enough that he doesn't need it.
