Spell: Greater Mass Imbue Emerald also makes these
Druids can do Both

My Tunare druid, currently an alt, who was my main back in the day, can cast Imbue Emerald and also Imbue Plains Pebble. He just cant cast Mass Imbue Plains Pebble.

Back in the day, druids could put both spells in their spell books, which I did, but later on, about when the Mass spells came out, We were all limited to just the correct diety version. So now I can cast Mass Imbue Emerald but am limited to imbuing one plains pebble at a time.

I'm confused. The spell description says that the imbue line of spells summons imbued gems, not that it has to be cast on an existing gem.

Think of it as enchanting metals for jewelcraft. Spells such as Enchant Platinum require a platinum bar to yeild an enchanted platinum bar. In this case, instead of enchanting a metal bar you are imbuing a gem.

It does summon imbued gems, but it requires a regular gem as a spell component.
So basically if I cast imbue emerald, it uses up an emerald as a component and summons an imbued emerald.
Kinda like how levitate requires batwings? But reagent conservations do NOT work when imbuing.
How to make

Buy an emerald, and have a 29+ Cleric of Tunare imbue the emerald for you.

Druids of Tunare can do this as well. Also level 29 I believe.

Sorry Fandiars, you are wrong. Tunare worshipping clerics AND druids can imbue emeralds, just as Karana worshipping clerics and druids can imbue plains pebbles. The previous post to yours is correct.
