I used to do this in stonebrunt mountains,
but only a few mobs there.
Tried freeport, but the guards rarely drop FS.
Tonight went to Oggok. The guards always drop
one FS and sometimes 2. Have not explored the
whole place yet. Watch out for the exterminator.
May try Neriak next. By the way, I am a human pally.

I realize this is too wittle, too wate, but...
Go kill Hill Giants in Rathe Mtns. Farm all the plat and FS weaps you want. Offer to buy everyone else's FS weaps at 5pp each (they generally take it), then zone to Feerrott. Go to either Oggok or PoK and convert all those weaps into HQ ore. Easy cheap way to get HQ ore plus you end up making a nice amount of plat from the HG's!

With CHA @ 157 Gliblixl sells for 1 lg brick hq ore for 52pp 4 silvwer and 8 copper.
This now costs 52 plat 4 silver 8 copper @ 131 Cha

It's really easy to get your hands on this stuff rather than buying it in bazaar! Gliblixl Rocktok in bazaar sells it for about 17pp. If he doesn't have any you need to restock him by doing his quest. You need 4 small or large bricks of unrefined ore, combine them in the box he gives you, and hand it to him. Sometimes people are even selling the unrefined stuff for real cheap. I got 4 bricks for 2pp each. At that point he is restocked and will sell as much as you need. I got about 100 bricks before he ran out. The more expensive way is to buy blocks of HQ ore from the Iksar in PoK, then use a chisel to convert it to large bricks. But that's about 51pp ea.

Yeril only has medium quality ore not high. At least that was the case today ;(

Thats because he only carries a limited supply. When he is sold out, someone needs to hail him and do the restock quest.

Found a vendor in south Qeynos who sells medium and high quality ore bricks. Vendors name is Yaken Oreslinger.
I come across various blocks of ore (including high quality ore) quite regularly in SolA.

Just curious if there is anywhere else to buy these other than the bazaar and qeynos. somewhere like freeport maybe.

I believe you can buy the bricks of highquality ore at the North Kaladim mine. When you get to the mine, go in and down the tunnel, take a right and you will see a well suited dwarf. That dwarf sells the high quality ore.
The Kaladim mine merchant and the Qenyos merchant both have a limited supply of HQ ore though, and you have to do a quest to restock him.

Note that this is the only size of HQ ore that can be enchanted.
Small bricks of enchanted ore are made by combining an enchanted (large) brick of HQ ore with water.
Enchanted sheets of metal are made from 2 small enchanted bricks of HQ ore combined with water.
Enchanted sheets of metal are used in making silvered weapons, and a very few cultural items. enchanted FOLDED sheets of metal are used for Enchanted Full Plate, among other things.

I got one from a goblin in Highkeep basement. Must be a very rare drop there. I spent quite some there and i have only seen it once.
High Quality ore is dropped by Goblins in the Highkeep Basement, Permafrost, and other places, generally with a mining theme.
