I just did the quest for these boots and they are AC7, WIS6, HP5, MANA5
This is the first one of these pieces I have made...when I finish the others, I'll be sure to check if the stats have changed from what is listed. I guess they decided to make the newb armor a little more on par with the rest of the game=P

I found that people in Crush Bone are happy to get rid of the Bricks of Crude Bronze. I am hunting for my armour at level 20 (just to say I have it), so I bound myself at a bank, so when I got all the bricks, I just Gated, as I could not move. I weighed 304. Nice.
I traded the BoCB for a few heals and made a friend in the process.
I've put this post on all items, so everyone can see.

the bronze can be MQ also... if you have a friend or another toon hunting in BB the aqua and green goblins drop the bronze bricks quite frequently.... & so do the orcs

I found most of them near the newbie lift, although there does appear to be a spawn point in a little depression on the way to Felwithe. These were much harder for me to get than the mature parts needed for the BP because of how few sprouts there were in the time I was in there.
