It is unclear if the quest for this item was ever implemented, since the purple headband (5th) is used in the epic line it is likely an orphaned concept.

I can't find an attackable monk GM in North Qeynos, so this item appears to be unobtainium.

I have heard of it happening... best sugestion i EVER heard was quite simply find the most HIDEOUS 2hb you can (Hammer of exoneration from Cabalis maybe.) and give it to the guild lead. He will equip it, and suffer the loss of Dual wield as WELL as having poor damage and delay.

Actually, there is a way to do it without even getting hit. I am not joking. All you have to do is group with an offensive caster, then...[LD]

Oh I'd like to see that happen.

Level 60 monk GM? Serious?

Those guys quad attack for 400, kick and use Discs, better off killing Nag and getting a CoF, probaly need less people =)

The one in Freeport was easy. I think I was a 42 monk at the time, and another 53 monk helped. We pulled him across the little bridge and feigned. Waited for the mean chick to leave and then just beat the crap outta the GM. And I looted my red sash heh heh. (watch out for roaming guards though, they don't like you beating on the guild masters - but just feign and wait for em to leave then beat on the guy some more) There was a listed faction hit, but they conned the same at the guild afterwards.

People have killed monk guildmasters before, usually people using pathing exploits. Saw a wizard standing high on a wall in Freeport, continously nuking a monk guildmaster, while they stood there helpless...

GM can and WILL summon if agroed .. it would take 3-4 groups of mid 50s to take a GM down .. these headbands are for status ONLY! by the time you can aquire one you sure as hell better have something better.
