This guy conned white to me at 52. We had a group of five. A 45 Druid, 53 Druid, 60 Shaman, 60 Magician and me (52 Rogue). We worked our way through the tunnels the first night the zone was up. Tracked to this guy at the insistence of the 45 druid. He dropped this item and a head. Head was no drop E...'s Head. I won this. Most I got hit for was 212 aswell. About 5 mins after we took him down there was a message across the zone about gnolls killing the towns people. I've been told you are to stop the gnolls from taking over the town, turn in the head, and get class specific loot. It sounds like fun, I'll have to get a group together to give it a try.

The guy that drops this is a pain in the butt.
With a 60 cleric keeping him permanantly feared, and a 52 bard and I slamming him behind, and burning all my mana on firestrikes, and starting at him being 40% dead (when he aggroed us) this took the better part of 20 minutes to kill. He hits for 212 max (that I saw) and doubled but we never gave him the chance to enrage/flurry so I'm not sure on that count. seems to be about lvl 50ish. Firestrike was hard to land for full damage but then he probably had this item in hand.
Mob also drops his skull (Lore, NoDrop) no stats. Not sure what quest its for.

i think its pretty much crap exept for the SV fire thats soso but i have much better

Posted: Aug 15 2002 at 1:24 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) You don't really like it cause you're level 23, but to a level 50+ the 15 sv fire would be very helpful as a situational item (wear it for dragon raids or anywhere you'd need a good ammount of sv fire).
Laff you are wrong, the level 23 is right hehe. This is crap at any level. YEARS ago it would be decent resist gear but with mudflation ( items becoming worth less as high levels farm them to sell to low levels ) this item is just complete crap.
Would be nice if lvl 50s these days dropped something that was even passingly wearable by a group who could take it down.
You can buy something 10x better than this with 20 minutes farming in HHK at level 30...

What a weird item, is it for a quest?
Nice Fire Resist item. Probably a ***** to get, though.
