Skins are found in Blackburrow off of Everfrost. They drop of the Elite Guards or Commander
RE: Skins and Elite Ledge

A friend and I camped the Elite Ledge (loc further down these posts) in BB (Solusek Ro server).
In 4 hours I was able to loot 2 skins there from the Elites, and gave one to my friend, because I had sold one earlier on another server. The monk then offered 50 PP for it, and this time I offered and sold it again for 50 PP (got a 5 PP bonus).
This may sound like a lot of money, but if you consider the scarity of it (I have spent days there without seeing any), I think it is an OK price.

A level 16 Druid can solo this ledge:

Approach the ramp, and harmonize the front Elite Gnoll. Stay left, and harmonize the other one in the right rear corner. Use Strength, Thistlecoat and Thistle Shield, back down the ramp some, and Swarm the front Elite, melee him to death.

Wait 3-5 min, then do the same with the one left, Spawn broken after that.

Sell the unused collars in Surefall Glade, as they give a Druid a better price. (Killing the gnolls increases Faction with Queynos as well as SFG), but the SFG is more friendly to you due to Class.

Have fun.

Given the enormous effort that goes into making an incredible wealth of information available to us all here on Allakhazam's site, I really do not think that the occasional poor grammar is justification for criticizing him.

Especially when you misspelled the colloquialism you used for "you" and failed to punctuate either your question or the offending quote.

Now, apologize to Allakhazam for your insolence.

Sorry about the ear-pulling. The post was meant to be a little dry humor and a lighthearted slap at folks who slam the nit-picky errors without ever acknowledging either the good things or the enormity of the task of keeping it all up here for us to use and enjoy.

So, I am pleased to see that you seem to have taken it in that light yourself.

As far as the Orange Headband is concerned, in and of itself, it is not exactly dazzling. It often as not sits in the bank until needed for obtaining the Red Headband while the monk wears something better while hunting.

However, it is seen by some of us (a minority perhaps) as a badge of honor among monks, a part of a rite of passage and a step forward in the progression towards our Epic.

My Human Monk on the FV server, who arguably may never see his Epic, wears this and the Orange Sash of Order simply because they mark a stage in his development as a monk. (Well, okay. And because he cannot yet afford anything better!)

don't forget quite necessary if you ever want the Robe of the Lost Circle, or the Robe of the whistling fists *drool* well, not the yellow headband in particular, but you need to complete all the headband quests..

if you're reading this and saying "i don't need that, i got a better helm" then do the quest anyway, and keep it in your bank. might as well get the components while you still get exp from camping them.
