The two don't even compare, nor does the one that drops in UP. Or is FT3 and Zephyr of Brell "worthless" in your opinion? Not to mention the fact that the stats on the 8th shawl are much better as well.
But that's ok, it's reserved for those of us who don't see becoming masters at almost every tradeskill as a bad thing, and it's simply the reward for all of our hard work. ;)

Agreed. Unless you have access to Plane of Time (and a stockpile of DKP), Zephyr of Brell is the best extended enhancement effect you can get. It's this effect more than the stats that have caused me to spend countless hours clicking "combine". Though there are a few items in the elemental planes that have an effect equal to Zephyr, the dorf blanket is more obtainable to most players.

It may be a nice piece, but I will still take the "costs-too-much-to-achieve Thurg pryaer shwal" with FT III over this anyday.
