Listen to this advice from an experianced EQer..
You will need more STA for higher HP as a warrior.
Look at the stats of the BP's again...
Steel warriors:12AC 4STA 1DEX 5HP 2STR
Battlemaster: 12AC 3STR 2DEX 1STA 20HP
The battlemaster BP has 15 more hitpoints but the Steel warriors has 3 more STA.... It really depends on what lvl you are on. If you are a highetr lvl newbie....go for more STA...lower LVL newbie.....i would get the Hit Point items.
Anyway good hunting to you all =)

I would argue that until you hit the AC soft cap, AC is still king. At low levels, (1-40) warriors are not always the best MT's. Paladins and Shadow Knights can tank quite well also. Since these both have the same AC, I would go with the Battlemaster's Armor, because it has more strength and Dexterity.... not because it has more hitpoints on it.
Also, any warrior wearing this breastplate past 20 should really look into getting better. Especially with the Bazaar, breastplates with 20 AC or better are quite affordable.

It gives more str, more dex and more HP then the steel warriors BP I have now. I will trade up to this one.
In comparison, these are the stats on the Steel Warriors Breastplate from the Freeport quest:
12AC, +2 Str, +4 Sta, +1 Dex, +5 HP, +5.00 Wt

This is the Breastplate from the newbie armors, you can get the necessary items for it by 11 lvl (I did). Nice piece by the way for the non-twinked newbie. Better than the DE and Gnome Breastplates.
Level to attain 45? I don't think so... Theoretically this could be done at level 1, by just buying all the ingredients off merchants and looking for corpses from people hunting wisps for the burned out lighstones.
