Got it in scarlet desert off of a Darkened sunflower.

In Mons Letalis, from A Frenzied Rockhopper, on whose cooling dead body I found hardend agate, fastened link, mark of desire, pristine shik-nar claws, hope diamond, fiery gourd, vial of purified water and vial of aqua waters. For a level 61 Druid, it was a breeze killing him after he attacked me, but the stonegrabbers are so-o-o agressive that they are quite the pests.

I purchased most of the items for the quest in the bazaar, but I was only able to find the Hope Diamond at the vendor in DSP, near the three spawn points for the stonegrabbers. The vendor charged me just over 5pp for the diamond. I initially camped the stonegrabbers for over 8 hours on two separate nights.
The Optimistic Stonegrabber never spawned, although several others did. This zone is rough, as the light crawlers will agro on you even if you are well above their level
. You will not draw agro from the wolves if you are a Druid or Beast master, but otherwise, they also have a suicidal tendency.
The vendor around 1400, -1400 (NE Corner, in a tent) has a lot of gear from the stonegrabbers. The prices were reasonable, considering some items sold for five times the price in the bazaar.

My Tunare-worshipping Ranger was also amiable to the wolves.
Another nice thing about DSP as compared to Marus Seru is that the Zelniaks /con indifferent, and thus don't aggro unless attacked. DSP would be all but impossible if the Zelniak population behaved as it does in Marus Seru (huge Zelniak aggro radius there).
Another difference I noticed is that the Lightcrawlers have a chance of blinding you in DSP. My Ranger never encountered this in Marus Seru.
