Dropped off a haunted chest in Hate for me as well... my question is, has anyone found an NPC in PoK to turn these in to for xp and a gem like other fear/hate armor drops? No one seems to want them, including myself ;)

I haven't been able to find a PoK turn-in mob for the Cryosilk Pantaloons and I doubt one exists. The "revamp" of the Plane of Hate obviously wasn't well planned, nor was there any kind of quality control follow-up. Even the bug in the Paladin epic the revamp created took dozens of complaints and several months to get fixed.
Lousy stats overall with Plus 5 WIS on a No Drop item only useable by an INT caster. And, so far as the collective efforts of people posting here, no indication that there is any in-game use for this item whatsoever. If there is a constructive use for this item, its purpose is pointlessly obscure.

Had a pair of these drop off a haunted chest last night in Hate, on the first floor. I guess some of Fear's loot has been put into the Hate loot table.

Ok, it's listed has giving +5 wis, not int. So why is it useable only by int caster classes?
