Didn't find spawn location, but I was able to kill the Denmother without the help of a group. She has more hit points than a regular bear but my healer merc stayed at full mana the entire fight. Killing 3 bear spawns slowly drains my mercs mana but the named fight, which lasted longer, was easier. Gerald stayed up a lot longer than 10 minutes this time, took me 30 minutes to find him. With invis off, you have to spam his highlighted text several times until he attacks. clicking the 2 text options right on him, with invis off, doesn't always work. Gerald will attack after being spammed enough. He was an easy solo (105 Pal; my merc got lost).

Side note, the denmother was still targetable while Gerald was still up.

You need to get an "Element of Kunark" and place it and the Wurmslayer into a Forge to combine it into the "Invested Honed Wurmslayer"

I just got the Wurmslayer last evening, and I can confirm the above method for retrieving the weapon, however the biggest thing to remember is: The number of Bears you kill is random the admin above took about 36 kills before the emote appeared. It took me close to 100.

The Ancient Denmother fight is not that difficult if you have a decent group. But there is an adjustment to the Gerald the Obnoxious fight:

at 10% The Ancient Denmother will fall over dead and immediately in her place Gerald the Obnoxious will spawn, when he does IMMEDIATELY spam hail him, use the trigger word "Chumps" and he'll turn KOS. He about as strong as regular mobs in the zone. Kill him, Loot the Ancient Claw and take it to Augur Gwellen at the Druid rings in the North East corner of the zone for turn in.
